Coaching is a transformative process for personal and professional awareness, discovery and growth. As coaches, we are responsible for discovering, clarifying, and aligning with what clients want to achieve, encouraging client self-discovery and eliciting client-generated solutions and strategies. As a coach, we do not diagnose or treat mental health illnesses or seek to resolve the deeper underlying issues that cause emotional problems. We also do not process trauma. Should we feel that a client may benefit from therapy rather than coaching, we will discuss this with the client and offer appropriate referrals...
