Abbi is trainee solicitor currently sitting in the Crime team, where she is assisting Francesca Cociani and Katie McFadden. Abbi joined Hodge Jones & Allen as a paralegal in 2020 in the Civil Liberties & Human Rights department. Prior to joining Hodge Jones & Allen she previously working as a paralegal in Immigration and Asylum law. She has also worked as a policy assistant in the House of Commons. Abbi is co-chair of Young Legal Aid Lawyers, an organisation of junior lawyers in the legal aid sector which campaigned for a sustainable legal aid system, access to justice and social mobility within the legal profession.

Alastair Banks

Alastair joined Hodge Jones & Allen in June 2017, providing admin support to the Medical Negligence department, before progressing to Senior Legal Assistant in May 2021. Alastair was promoted to Paralegal in June 2022, supporting Nina Ali with her cases.

Alisha McSporran

Alisha joined Hodge Jones & Allen in October 2022 as a Legal Assistant in the Civil Liberties & Human Rights department. She has been promoted to Paralegal in February 2023. Alisha assists Sarah Flanagan and Gimhani Eriyagolla in actions against the police and public authorities, representing bereaved families at inquests, and judicial reviews. Prior to joining the firm Alisha worked in housing and employment law, and volunteered for a range of human rights organisations including Human Rights Pulse and the Freedom Law Clinic.

Aniqa Khan

Aniqa joined Hodge Jones & Allen in November 2022 as a Legal Assistant supporting the Civil Liberties & Human Rights team. Aniqa was promoted as a Paralegal in November 2023. She assists Sebastian Del Monte and Nancy Collins on a range of claims including representing bereaved families at inquests, actions against the police and other state bodies. Prior to joining Hodge Jones & Allen, Aniqa worked as a Family Law Paralegal working on divorce, financial remedy and child arrangements matters.

Charlotte Gamble

Charlotte joined Hodge Jones & Allen in August 2023 as a Paralegal in the Criminal Defence Team. She is currently working on the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry and Undercover Policing Inquiry, helping to represent over 100 core participants across both inquiries. Prior to this, she volunteered as an office assistant at Amicus, assisting with casework on death penalty cases in the US. Charlotte is also interested in legal reform and published a policy paper on the decriminalisation of sex work in England and Wales for the Wilberforce Society.
