SWINDON SPORTS THERAPY - Key Persons

Dan Elsigood

Dan Elsigood graduated from the University of Chichester with a 1 st class honors in Sports Therapy back in 2012. Since then Dan has been an integral part of the growth of Swindon Sports Therapy and is now the clinic director. During this time Dan has also worked with Newbury RFC so no matter how bad your injury, Dan has probably seen worse! Dan's passion for injuries came from an early age when he had issues with a recurrently dislocating shoulder. He's now been operated on and is fully fit again thanks to successfully rehabilitating his own shoulder. So if you have a shoulder problem - Dan is your man. His treatment approach is an amalgamation of many methods he has learnt over the years, with a big focus around the myofascial system and identifying what isn't doing its job properly. What drives him every day is helping you realise and achieve your dream goals, no matter what that might look like. Amongst spending time with his young family Dan will throw his hand periodically into cricket, running, badminton and gym training. A jack of all trades and master of none. He claims to enjoy football too but as a Newcastle fan this is dubious! Dan Elsigood is registered and insured with the Society Of Sports Therapists.

Stuart has been with Swindon Sports Therapy since 2015 and has been key to the success of the clinic over the years. Stuart's treatment approach has progressed over the years in order to deal with a wide variety of different injuries and conditions. Understanding how the connective tissue can impact the body's ability to move is something Stuart is really interested in and is continuing to further his knowledge around. As well as understanding how previous trauma can affect the body both physically and mentally. Stuart is determined to really find the root cause of your issues. Stuart has also spent time with Wantage FC and the Swindon Storm American Football team helping players recover from a whole manner of injuries. If you can rehab American Footballers to play again in one of the most physically demanding sports there is, you can rehab pretty much any injury for any occasion! Stuart has a loving wife and two children that he loves spending time with and doing lots of different adventures with too. Stuart is keen about his sports from watching to playing. He cycles and plays football regularly. Stuart Hillis is registered and insured as a Sports Therapist with the Federation Of Holistic Therapists.
