Andreas Tautscher

Andreas is a Guernsey based independent director with over 30 years' financial services experience. During his 24 year career with Deutsche Bank he worked in Banking, Investments, Fund and Trust services. He was appointed as a Managing Director in 2004 and served on a number of senior Boards and Committees in UK, Channel Islands and Europe. For the last 10 years he was Country Head Channel Islands and ran the Financial Intermediaries EMEA Coverage team. He also worked with a number of Family Office groups in Switzerland and the Channel Islands. Before Deutsche he trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994. Andreas currently sits on, and Chairs, a number of Listed and Regulated Boards. He has experience in IPO's, has also spoken at a number of conferences in the Channel islands and Caribbean on financial services.

Andrew Brook

Andrew is a highly experienced senior executive with 30 years experience of Financial Services. For the last 5 years he has been undertaking a portfolio of non executive board roles including chairing investment, audit and risk committees. Prior to this experience Andrew spent 25 years with PwC, latterly as a Partner with PwC Bermuda where he led the Asset Management and Banking practices. His role incorporated line management responsibility for a team of 50 partners and professionals in audit, tax and advisory. In addition, he was client service lead partner for multiple financial services and non-financial services clients. Prior to Bermuda he worked in PwC London where he undertook asset management, banking audit engagements and significant advisory engagements in the UK, CIS and Malaysia. Through his many audit/consulting roles and board appointments Andrew has had exposure to financial services regulated businesses in Bermuda, Cayman, Mauritius, UK and listing bodies in the UK, US and Bermuda.

Clare Chalmers

Clare founded Clare Chalmers Limited and is a non-executive director of Brickendon Consulting. An expert practitioner with extensive experience of board evaluation and development, she is able to provide insight on a range of corporate governance issues. Clare is also particularly well-placed to provide insights around composition, dynamics and boardroom diversity. During a 20-year career in investment banking, culminating in COO roles at CSFB and Lehman Brothers, Clare devised and ran 360-degree evaluation processes and managed in-house coaching, mentoring and training programmes. Hubert Nicolle

With a background in third-party fund administration and operations, Hubert is experienced in the complete lifecycle of investment funds. In addition to being fully aware of the increasingly complex regulatory landscape and requirements for investment funds regarding corporate governance and risk management, Hubert has a sound understanding of the investment management process. Hubert has a degree in Management and Administrative Studies from the University of Aston, Birmingham, is a chartered accountant and holds the Diploma in Company Direction from the IoD.

Ian White

Ian is a UK based consultant. He is a former Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary for both listed and private companies. While he spent most of his career as a lawyer, he also has an MBA and spent some time working as a strategy consultant. He now works as a consultant, coach, trainer and facilitator. His previous in-house experience has led him to develop an expertise in corporate governance, working with boards, leaders and lawyers on effectiveness, enhancement and performance. He spends much of his time reviewing and advising boards and management teams on structure, dynamics and how they can excel in leading their organisations. While his main focus is on FTSE and major private companies he also works with professional services firms, public sector bodies and a number of charities and other not-for-profit organisations. Karen Melhuish

Karen is our Office Manager with varied responsibilities that include assisting with business development, compliance duties and organising events.

Michel Davy

Michel co-founded Arolla Partners and is a Guernsey based independent director with over 25 years of financial services experience. Michel trained with EY Guernsey and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 2000. Michel was previously the Managing Director of Ipes Guernsey (2010-2013) and is member of the local branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and holds the Diploma in Company Direction along with a BA (Hons) degree in Business Administration from the University of Brighton. Working with some leading European private equity houses, Michel focuses on providing Director services to private closed ended structures in private equity, venture capital and real estate.
