Astrata is a Pittsburgh based digital quality start-up company. We were founded in 2021 as a spin out company from UPMC (which is also our first customer, development partner, and a strategic investor). Many of us have spent more than a decade working together to deliver informatics solutions that solve real world healthcare problems. Our Natural Language Processing (NLP) is based on a mature but highly innovative technology that we developed over almost two decades, funded by the National Institutes of Health... Our mission now is simple. We want to help transform the way the industry measures healthcare quality, helping our customers achieve value-based care across all of their populations... Everything we build is aligned with CMS and NCQA's vision for the future of Digital Quality and value-based care. Our tools enable transformation - from a retrospective, reactive status quo to proactive, continuous quality improvement that can drive a learning health system.
