BigNeuron is a community effort to define and advance state-of-the-art of single neuron reconstruction: an essential unsolved challenge in brain science. The special session is aimed to review the progress of the Bigneuron project and discuss the state-of-the-art neuron reconstruction and analysis methods. The session will contribute to the field by discussing exciting research and methods in neuroinformatics from the BigNeuron community, broadening our thinking about the computational methods that facilitate biology discoveries, and investigating cutting-edge software tools for large-scale neuroimaging data analysis.
