Established in 2015, Chimera Climbing has been at the forefront of the bouldering scene for over a decade and has watched a niche sport go mainstream. Constantly evolving and innovating, the Chimera centres are a wonderful place to give climbing a go for the first time... Whether you are new to the sport of bouldering, looking to get fit, keen to implement a healthy lifestyle or a seasoned pro, Chimera is the place for you. We are a bouldering centre which means no ropes - instead the walls are lower and surrounded by safety matting. But it also means no harnesses to puzzle out and no tricky knots to learn. It is the most accessible form of climbing and the easiest to take up as you don't need a partner to get going... If you want a helping hand, we offer taster sessions to those new to the sport and coaching classes for those looking to improve.
