With over a decade of experience, Nima's practice focuses on EB-5 financing, for institutional grade development projects. Nima draws upon his experience to advise parties on all sides of the EB-5 transaction, including Regional Centers, project developers, advisors, and investors. Prior to joining the firm, Nima was a managing partner at a boutique immigration firm, where he was responsible for building and growing the most successful EB-5 law practice in the US, representing over 5,000 EB-5 investors.

Niral Patel is a Partner at KLD LLP's New York office. He has experience in many aspects of U.S. corporate and investment immigration law. As a leader of the firm's Indian and Middle Eastern practice group, Niral regularly travels to India and UAE to meet with investors and migration agents to educate and guide them through the EB-5 process. Specifically, Niral's EB-5 Investor-side visa work includes advising current and prospective investors on their long-term immigration goals. This includes formulating strategies related to source of funds, aging out children, and how the EB-5 visa works in conjunction with other visas such as the J-1, H-1B, and L-1.
Niral represents both U.S. and global corporate clients in the process of preparing and filing both EB-5 and non-EB-5 immigration visas. Niral has also successfully filed writ of mandamuses, and represented foreign nationals in federal courts in lawsuits to correct USCIS errors and improve USCIS efficiency. Niral has spoken internationally to investors and migration agents on the process of employment-based visas and regularly advises businesses on EB-5 corporate structuring, financing, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining KLD, LLP, Niral served as managing partner at a boutique immigration law firm where he led the firm's Indian and Middle Eastern practice groups.
Phuong Le is a Partner with & KLD LLP. He has over 15 years of experience and leads a global EB-5 practice group with an emphasis on projects and EB-5 financing. He draws upon an extensive background advising parties on all sides of EB-5 transactions, including Regional Centers, project developers, agents, and investors. Previously, he was in-house counsel for a large Southern California EB-5 Regional Center and real estate developer. There, he managed over $500 million in EB-5 financing and guided the company to several milestones, including approvals for their first 100 I-829 petitions.
