Black Bull's accolades include the 2008 IWSC Trophy award given to Black Bull 12 Year Old for Best Blended Scotch Whisky category, Gold Award at the 2011 IWSC for Black Bull 12 Year Old, Double Gold Award at the 2016 China Wine and Spirits Awards for Black Bull 21 Year Old and Black Bull 12 Year Old, The Best Scotch Blended Limited Release at the 2017 World Whiskies Awards for Black Bull 40 Year Old and The Best Scotch Blended Limited release at the 2019 World Whiskies Awards for Black Bull 10 Year Old in Rum Finish (to name a few).
Euan Shand, grew up in the whisky business. His father, the late Albert Shand, was a former manager of the Glendronach Distillery, and Euan grew up in a house on the distillery grounds. Following in the family footsteps, Euan joined the industry as a cooper and warehouseman at Glendronach Distillery. Glendronach was acquired by Wm Teacher and Sons Ltd in 1957. He spent 6 years working his way through most areas of the business before moving to their headquarters in St Enoch Square in Glasgow to train in export finance and international trade.
In 1990, in keeping with his continued interest in the whisky industry, Euan founded the Bennachie Scotch Whisky Co, where he pioneered the interest in vatted/blended malts.

Moji Shand is an attorney at law with more than a decade of litigation and management experience. Moji received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles, School of Law in 1998 and began her legal career in Los Angeles, California, where she served as a senior supervising attorney at a prestigious, mid-size AV rated law firm.
In 2006, after visiting Scotland and some of its world renowned distilleries, Moji was introduced to the wonderful world of Scotch whisky and eventually, decided to leave the conventional practice of law.
In 2012, she joined Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky, where she now serves as the CEO and puts into practice her years of management skills and experience, coupled with her passion for quality whisky.
