Updated 16 days ago
We aim to be an open, diverse and welcoming group in terms of both social background and intellectual tradition. Our members include single country specialists and comparativists who work on a wide range of national, sub-national and supra-national legislatures using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Our members' research focuses on questions of executive-legislative relations, scrutiny, the legislative process, institutional organisation and procedure, parliamentary committees, institutional change and reform, parliamentary parties, representation, equality and diversity, parliamentary careers, public engagement, and trust... The PSA Parliaments specialist group supports members in their research and teaching on parliaments and legislatures and promotes the exchange of ideas through conferences, events, publications, and the group's blog... The Group Convenors are Diana Stirbu and Ruxandra Serban, our Treasurer and Membership Officer is Lauren Martin, our Communications..
