Andrew Doolittle

Dr. Doolittle graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, before attending post-graduate classes through Boston University. He earned an HPSP Scholarship through the U.S. Army. He earned his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine in 1999, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha (medical honor society), and completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in Otolaryngology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center before being assigned to Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg. he served as the Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Womack from 2006 to 2008, then practiced in North Carolina until joining ENT consultants. Dr. Doolittle has special expertise in managing diseases of the ear, nose and nasal passage sinuses, larynx (voice box), oral cavity and pharynx (mouth and throat), as well as structures of the neck and face. He is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine and treats patients who suffer from sleep disorders such as sleep apnea. He also evaluates and offers treatment services for allergies. Patients of all ages are treated. Dr. Doolittle is also a board member of the Massachusetts Society of Otolaryngology.

Dr. David Bowling

Dr. David Bowling has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the community. He joined Mass. Eye and Ear, Medford in 2014 after serving as the Medical Director of Otolaryngology at Mass. Eye and Ear, Stoneham. Before joining Mass. Eye and Ear in 1994, Dr. Bowling served as Lieutenant Commander, Medical Corps, in the United States Navy Reserve. He also held the position of Otolaryngology Department Head of the Groton Naval Hospital. Dr. Bowling frequently performs myringotomy and tube placement, tonsillectomy/ adenoidectomy, sinus surgery, septoplasty, ear surgery, parotid/salivary gland surgery, and larynx surgery. He has a particular interest in sinus disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and salivary gland disease. Dr. Matthew Salzler

Job Titles:

Dr. Matthew Salzler is an orthopedic surgeon seeing patients at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He previously worked with professional athletes as a team physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins and is currently a team physician for Tufts University, Emerson College, Fisher College, the Quincy Militia semi-pro football team, as well as Cathedral, Quincy, and North Quincy High Schools. A former collegiate rower and recent triathlete, he understands the mindset of athletes. He is actively engaged in advancing the field of sports medicine through research, teaching, and his involvement with the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He frequently teaches advanced arthroscopic techniques to surgeons from all over the globe through the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He specializes in sports medicine, including arthroscopy and reconstructive procedures of the knee, shoulder, and hip. Education Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons

Dr. Peter S. Vezeridis

A native of Rhode Island, Dr. Vezeridis attended Brown University where he obtained an Sc.B. degree with Honors and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then attended Brown Medical School. During medical school, Dr. Vezeridis was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to the Netherlands to perform orthopaedic basic science research. He was also a medical volunteer at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Dr. Vezeridis completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program in Boston. He served as a Chief Resident in Orthopaedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. After residency, Dr. Vezeridis completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. During fellowship, he was an assistant team physician for the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Bruins, and the New England Revolution. Following his Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery fellowship, Dr. Vezeridis completed a European traveling fellowship in advanced shoulder surgery. During this time, he learned from several of the world's pre-eminent shoulder surgeons including Dr. Laurent Lafosse in Annecy, France, Dr. Gilles Walch in Lyon, France, and Dr. Christian Gerber in Zurich, Switzerland. Dr. Vezeridis was also awarded an AO Trauma Fellowship at the Charité Hospital in Berlin, Germany. Prior to joining Excel, Dr. Vezeridis was an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at UCLA where he served as a team physician for several UCLA athletic teams. He currently serves as a faculty member for the San Diego Shoulder Course. Dr. Vezeridis is accepting new patients. Dr. Vezeridis is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES). This society is comprised of the leading national and international orthopaedic surgeons who specialize in shoulder and elbow surgery. Membership in this society is by invitation only. Dr. Vezeridis has been invited to lecture at numerous international, national, and regional courses and meetings.
