His master's project was focused on using edge processing technology for collecting and analyzing large scale IoT data obtained from sensory devices using multiple communication protocols such as Zigbee and Z-wave and cellular.

Giulio is an accomplished leader from the dynamic and fast-paced telecom industry, with thirty plus years of experience. He has operational, engineering, and deployment experience along with large scale execution of projects and capital builds, responsible for multi-million dollar capital and operating budgets. Giulio has been a leader in very large, diverse teams of professionals and unionized labour forces across Canada and prides himself on employee engagement and leadership values. His telco experience also includes being an early employee of a successful start-up company building Fibre to the Home as well as two of Canada's largest telcos.

Ted Maulucci assumed the role of President at SmartONE after a 26 year career as the CIO of a leading Toronto-based multi-family real estate developer. He championed the development and execution of the first smart community in the Greater Toronto Area. Mr. Maulucci has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business with a specialization in Real Property Development. For his social contribution, Mr. Maulucci has been recognized with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for promoting Canadian innovation, and the Citizenship Award from Professional Engineers Ontario, among others.
As a Professional CPA, CGA with over 20 years of experience in finance and operations in retail and manufacturing sectors, Yovan is a results-oriented leader with an entrepreneurial-minded approach to problem-solving.
