Thread Tex Tool Inc. was founded in 1980 in Ore City, Texas to make high quality API couplings for the oil well casing market. This year is our fortieth year in business with the same owners and same management. Since our founding, things have changed... All couplings are offered with bare or phosphated threads and painted outside as specified by the buyer. All products are made using state of the art, CNC lathes such as Mori Seiki or Doosan, purchased new by Thread Tex Tool Inc. All threaded components are precisely threaded to the API or applicable specification. Tubing or pipe used to produce the above products is purchased on the surplus pipe market. By buying our raw materials on the surplus market, we are able to offer the lowest price to our customers, thus the term non-API.
