Andrea DeSousa

Born and raised in Kitimat, Andrea DeSousa has practised massage therapy for the last sixteen years. Vitality is owned and operated by Andrea, and Vitality has just celebrated 10 years of operating! It has been her joy to provide a variety of esthetic services and products to the Kitimat community, and she has had the privilege to work with many creative people to help her establish and continue to develop her business, making it what it is today. Andrea graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2014 , which is located in Westminster, Vancouver.

Dr. Nicole Czornohalan

Dr. Nicole Czornohalan is an experienced Chiropractor who treats a wide variety of people and conditions. Dr. Nicole is trained in a number of Chiropractic techniques that she is able to tailor to individual patient needs, including gentle spine adjustments and soft tissue treatments including the use of a Rock Blade tool, using Graston Technique. She treats a variety of conditions from headaches, neck pain, mid back and low back pain, hip pain, knee and foot problems, also chronic overuse injuries such as tennis elbow, rotator cuff strain, hip bursitis and achilles tendonitis to name a few. Dr Nicole also offers Shockwave Therapy, a non-invasive shockwave treatment and vibration therapy, used to treat a variety of common injuries, achieving a 91% rate of improvement according to recent clinical studies. Dr. Nicole graduated from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia in 2007 with a double degree, Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic)/ Bachelor of Chiropractic (Hons). She has been living in Kitimat since 2014 and joined the Vitality team in 2016. Dr. Nicole loves baking sourdough bread, Crossfit, and skiing with her children. She also spends her free time volunteering in the community and works on the board of the Kitimat Dynamic Gymnastics Club.

Glenda Cameron

Glenda Cameron was born in Kitimat and raised in Nova Scotia, graduating from The Academy of Cosmetology in Dartmouth N.S. after high school. Working as an esthetician in Halifax, she continued learning under a Paris trained esthetician. Glenda then went into nursing and moved back to Kitimat after graduating, working at Kitimat General Hospital as a nurse and the Child Development Centre as a life skills worker. Combining her love of esthetics, and caring for people, she returned to esthetics in 2015 at Vitality, offering a full range of services.

Melissa Wong

Melissa has been and RMT for over 10 years and graduated from the 3000 hour training program in New Westminster. Over the years she has taken many post-graduate courses with one of her favorites being upper and lower limb cadaver prosections at the medical training lab in Vancouver. In her treatments she likes to combine rehab science with relaxation for the best possible client outcomes. She enjoys working with all types of clients and conditions, especially injury and surgical rehab. Melissa looks forward to helping you in your health and wellness journey.

Morgan John

Morgan John is a certified esthetician, graduating top in her class from Ms. Lorea's College of Esthetics & Nail Technology Inc. June 30, 2011. Morgan has a passion for skin care and loves helping people look and feel their best. Offering a full range of esthetics services, including skin care facials, she uses the product line Eminence Organic Skin Care in my facial treatments, keeping up to date with their product innovations. Morgan also does skin treatments, back treatments, manicures, pedicures, eyelash/eyebrow tinting, eyelash lift, wax depilation, body scrubs and wraps, relaxation massage, Jetpeel facials and Scarlet RF microneedling. Safety and cleanliness are very important to Vitality, Morgan ensures that she is up to date in Worksite Safety, having recently completing Pandemic Awareness Training. Morgan loves being able to come to work and make people's day and seeing my clients happy faces. As a Mom of three beautiful daughters, they inspire Morgan to show them that beauty comes from within, and that taking care of yourself is an important part of our selfcare. Rebecca Klassen

Rebecca Klassen graduated from Vancouver Community College nursing program in 2012. Rebecca moved with her family shortly after gradation to Kitimat , and loves it here. Her kids are in many extra curricular including Gymnastics and Hockey. They love the outdoors and love all the snow, making sure they had a good snow blower was essential! A familiar face in our local hospital, Rebecca has nursed in Acute care, long term care, and mental health and addictions, and has helped in ER and Maternity. Rebecca decided to further her education in Footcare which includes Advanced diabetic Footcare , when she saw people losing their mobility and independence. When people's feet hurt from pain and very long and thick toe nails they don't want to mobilize very much and it decreases their quality of life. Rebecca joined with Vitality because the spa surroundings provide a comfortable, private atmosphere and so she can dedicate one to one time with her clients and better tend to their needs. Rebecca addresses callouses, corns, thick nails, and help with fungus and planters warts. She also assesses Footcare choices and possible causes of these conditions, using sterile tools and personal protection equipment.

Sarah Twomey

Sarah Twomey has been a Relaxation Therapist at Vitality, joining the team in September 2012. Sarah was born and raised outside Houston, starting her massage training at the Nevada School of Massage Therapy in 2003 with the intention of going into medical massage and she completed the program in 2004, working in beauty salons and later running her own private practise. Following Sarah's relocation to B.C. she found that her extensive formal qualifications were not immediately transferrable so Sarah enrolled at The West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Meeting Andrea a week after her arrival, her name was put on the schedule at Vitality. (Sarah has yet to complete the Canadian RMT program). A Kitimat residents for eight years, Sarah and her young family have become a part of the community. Sarah has practiced massage therapy for 16 years, holding licenses in two states and was nationally certified in the U.S. She has incorporated numerous techniques into her sessions through the years and has also trained new therapists. Primarily Sarah offers deep tissue and trigger point therapies along with hot stones and maternity massages. You are in good hands with Sarah.

Shari Pereria

For the last 14 years, Shari has been a Licensed Practical nurse. Physician trained, Shari has been specialising in IPL laser therapy for the last 16 years. Shari is able to treat a variety of skin and hair therapies including permanent hair removal, skin tags, sun damage, spider veins on legs and face, Rosacea and acne scaring. Other treatments include Microdermabrasion, and RF(radio-frequency) for facial skin tightening and body shaping. An initial consult is recommended by Shari, to ensure that the most effective treatment is delivered and tailored to your skincare needs

Shelby Duncan

Shelby Duncan has been a part of our team here at Vitality for the past three years. She is one of our hard-working receptionist who greets you when you first walk in. Under the guidance of our expert estheticians, Shelby has taken on the additional role of doing pedicures. She loves helping you to feel your best! When she isn't working hard here at the Spa, Shelby is spending time with her family and doing things she loves like painting and spending time outdoors, swimming and hiking.
