Dr Abigail Methley

Dr Methley is an experienced researcher and completed her PhD on the mental health support needed for people with multiple sclerosis. She has presented at national and international conferences and is an author of 16 academic publications and 14 practice based publications for clinicians. She has recently published a textbook on the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for people with Acquired Brain Injury for Routledge and co-authored a Cochrane review on psychological interventions for dementia.

Dr Emily Wilson

Dr Emily Wilson is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist (registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPS) and British Psychological Society (BPS) with 14 years experience of working within the NHS and 12 years experience in the independent sector. Emily is an EMDR Europe Accredited Consultant having gained accreditation to offer EMDR to children, adolescents and adults. At the Cheshire Wellness Centre, Emily offers support to young children and their families who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event. She is experienced in helping people to manage the impact this may have had on their wellbeing, mental health and or behaviour.

Dr James Oliver

Dr James Oliver is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years' experience in the NHS and Private Practice. James offers evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention to support a range of mental health challenges for both children, young people and adults. He currently works in the NHS at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital alongside his private practice, and enjoys working with both children and adults. He has a special interest in anxiety based concerns such as including OCD, panic and performance anxiety, as well as work-related stress/burn-out. James brings a wealth of experience in both NHS mental health services and the private sector, most recently as a Senior Clinical Psychologist at Changing Minds. In this role, he worked a Senior Clinical Psychologist within their Performance Services, within a number of elite sporting organisations including the LTA, Premier league football and Olympic sports. He also has worked with leading corporate organisations offering reflective performance support, and supporting mental health strategies. As a former athlete, he enjoys working with those experiencing performance pressures and offers compassionate and impactful support. She was inspired to become a trainer following her own pelvic floor complications after childbirth.
