Alice Chandler

Alice joined Flynn Hodkinson in January 2022 as Office Manager. Alice began her professional career in 2012 as an accounting assistant and completed her Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification in 2015. In 2016 she moved to the United Arab Emirates where she worked as an Executive Assistant. She moved back to London in 2018 and has since enjoyed working as an Office Manager within the Law sector. In her spare time, Alice enjoys bootcamp and Pilates, cooking for her family and travelling.

Catherine Betancourt

Catherine Betancourt joined Flynn Hodkinson in September 2018. She focuses on a variety of cases, ranging from corporate visas, to family-based cases, to renunciation of US citizenship. Catherine is an enthusiastic lawyer, originally from Puerto Rico, who moved to the UK in the autumn of 2017 where she lives with her partner. She has lived all over the world, including in China, various states in the US, and now Europe. Catherine is an avid traveler, who also loves to bake and dance in her spare time. Catherine has a wide range of experience in immigration law and assists a variety of clients from individual to corporate clients. She focuses primarily on employment-based visas for those who want to live and work in the United States, while also having a deep understanding of family-based cases, such as spousal green cards. She is also experienced with renunciation of US citizenship and its immigration consequences, among other immigration law issues such as waivers for criminal inadmissibility. Catherine graduated from The George Washington University Law School in 2017 and was admitted to the D.C. bar in December of that same year. In 2018, she earned a master's degree with Distinction in Immigration Law from Queen Mary University of London. Prior to law school, Catherine graduated with a bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Anthropology from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C."

Charis Slater

Charis Started at Hodkinson Law Group in 2013 as a Business Administrator, and became a Legal Assistant in 2015. She studied Psychology at The University of the West of England, Bristol and graduated in 2011. Charis enjoys traveling, and her favourite trips include camping inside the Arctic Circle in Norway, traveling by train through Russia and Mongolia, and eating her way around Japan. Since becoming a mother in 2018 her free time is spent in less adventurous ways, and now she can mostly be found at home knitting and sewing her way to a handmade wardrobe.

Charlotte "Lottie" Armstrong

Charlotte joined Hodkinson Law Group in 2015 as Business Administrator, and became a Legal Assistant in 2020. She graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a BA (Hons) Business Administration degree in 2011, as well as completing a course in Teeline Shorthand in 2014. Janice Flynn

In February 2012, Janice established Flynn Hodkinson, bringing with her expertise acquired over 20 years practising and working in the field of US visa and nationality law. Janice is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) holding positions of leadership and is currently the Vice Chair of the Rome District-EMEA Chapter and a member of AILA's National Customs and Border Protection Liaison committee. She graduated from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois and was admitted to the Illinois state bar in 2004. Prior to earning her law degree, she earned a bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Illinois at Chicago and studied during her junior year of university at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Janice is the Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees for icap (Immigrant Counselling & Psychotherapy) which is a registered British charity providing high-quality counselling and psychotherapy principally to Irish immigrants in the United Kingdom. Janice has been working in the field of US visa and nationality law for more than 20 years both in Chicago and the United Kingdom. In 2023 Who's Who Legal recognised her as a Thought Leader in Corporate Immigration Law. Janice regularly advises individuals and multinational companies on their overall U.S. immigration strategy. Her experience encompasses a wide range of US visa and nationality matters, including family and employment-based visas and US nationality issues including the acquisition and loss of US citizenship with focuses on consular processing and US entry issues at US ports of entry and pre-clearance locations across the globe. Janice is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) holding positions of leadership and is currently the Chair of the Rome District-EMEA Chapter and a member of AILA's National Customs and Border Protection Liaison committee. She is also a member of the Alliance of Business Immigration Lawyers (ABIL), a global alliance of business immigration lawyers. She lives near London with her husband and their dogs, Daisy and Rosie, and enjoys going for long walks in the countryside.

Kehrela Hodkinson

Mrs. Hodkinson exclusively practiced U.S. immigration law in London from 1994 until her recent retirement on 30th June 2023. She represented a broad range of corporate and individual clients in connection with temporary (non-immigrant) visas and both employment and family-based permanent (immigrant) visa petitions. She also provided advice relating to complex issues of waivers on grounds of inadmissibility, maintenance, and abandonment of permanent resident status, and renunciation (expatriation) of U.S. citizenship.

Rebekah Scott

Rebekah has worked with Flynn Hodkinson since April 2017 initially as a Legal Assistant, then as a Junior Paralegal until being promoted to the position of US Visa and Nationality Law Paralegal. She began her career with our firm after completing her Legal Secretary Diploma in Kent.

Rikki Barrow

Rikki joined Flynn Hodkinson in 2018 and handles a wide variety of cases for both corporate and private individual clients. She handles applications for family and employment based permanent residency, as well as a range of non-immigrant options such as E-1 traders, E-2 investors, H-1B specialty occupations, L-1 intra-company transferees, and O-1s of extraordinary ability. She also handles complex acquisition of citizenship matters and inadmissibility issues. Rikki is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and serves on the EMEA Rome District Chapter's Government Liaison Committee. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Sharon L. Noble

Sharon Noble has exclusively practiced U.S. immigration law since 1996, concentrating on business-related immigration matters with an emphasis on both non-immigrant visa petitions for corporate employees, individual investors and entrepreneurs as well as employment based immigrant petitions, extraordinary ability petitions and outstanding researcher petitions. Ms. Noble worked with Ms. Hodkinson in London for seven years before returning to the United States in 2003. Ms. Noble served as Of Counsel to Hodkinson Law Group until 2021 and is now Of Counsel to Flynn Hodkinson, working remotely from Washington. Prior to 1996, Ms. Noble practiced corporate real estate and health care law in Los Angeles. With Ms. Noble's prior corporate experience, she possesses a strong business background and exceptional writing skills, both of which have proven invaluable to her immigration practice.

Tasha N. Cripe
