I found myself getting into horticulture by accident after leaving school. I saw people doing tree surgery and thought it looked like fun (and it was!). After three years being self-employed, I joined Amey and I worked my way up through the ranks on and off the tools, becoming an Asset Manager within strategic highways. I then spent some time with Kier and National Highways on the same contract before taking the decision to work in the supply chain and move to Chevron Green Services in 2022. The time since has been an enjoyable whirlwind.
