Carlijn Kingma

Carlijn Kingma (1991) is a researcher, artist and cartographer. In November 2016 she graduated from Delft University of Technology at the faculty of Architecture. But although she felt highly attracted to the architectural practice, she chose to be an architect in an alternative way. Behind her drawing table, she create worlds in order to understand the world around us. Drawings that reflect on the complex structures of our societies. The works are always the result of extensive collaborations.

Carlos Alvarez Pereira

Carlos is Vice President of The Club of Rome. He is an Aerospace Engineer and initiated his career as a lecturer and researcher in systems dynamics at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), to get later engaged for many years as an entrepreneur in the digital sector in Spain, Switzerland, France and Germany. He created and chaired until 2020 the Innaxis Foundation to develop research on complex systems and responsible innovation. He is now devoted to promoting the emergence of a civilizational shift towards equitable wellbeing within a healthy biosphere. Carlos advises the UNESCO Chair of Global Understanding for Sustainability at the University of Jena, and the International Bateson Institute, as well as the SWEET EDGE project on transition to 100% renewables in Switzerland. He is also a member of the Scientific Council of the Montpellier Advanced Knowledge Institute on Transitions (MAK“IT), and a fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS).

Olga Mink

A common thread in her work is connecting people, ideas, and organisations in (mutual) learning trajectories. Through artistic research, she discovers ways to explore by creating and to create by exploring-a process that stretches the boundaries of what we (think we) know, uniting hearts, hands and minds.

Onno Ephraim

Peter Blom

Peter Blom is the former CEO (1995-2021) of Triodos Bank and was one of its founders in 1980. The bank won the Financial Times Sustainable Bank of the Year Award in 2009 and has become a global reference for value-based banking. Peter founded the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV.org) in 2009 and was the chair of the board in 2021. Today the GABV has 65 member banks worldwide. Alongside others, he is a full-time non-executive board member of the Dutch Central Bank and the co-chair of the Sustainable Finance Lab. Peter was awarded the Dutch Royal Distinction as Officer of Oranje Nassau in 2021 for his contribution to social banking and sustainability over 40 years.

Reon Brand

Reon Brand was born and grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. He studied biology and went to work as a researcher. Wanting a more entrepreneurial direction, he changed course and became a consultant and business developer for Vodacom in Africa. There he came into contact with foresight. Meanwhile, he has been Design Principal Foresight & Social-cultural trends at Philips Design in Eindhoven for over twenty years. In that capacity, he is responsible for gaining insights into emerging futures for Philips Strategic Company Innovation.
