Recognizing the scarcity of objective science on the impact of accountable care strategies the National Association of ACOs (NAACOS) provided initial funding to launch the Institute in 2018. While the Institute benefits from its unique access to NAACOS' member ACOs, it is an independent non-profit organization, and its funding comes primarily through grants and contracts... The Institute's work falls into four main categories: research, analytics, health policy analysis and performance improvement collaboratives... In partnership with NAACOS the Institute facilitates learning collaboratives to help ACOs build new clinical initiatives such as home-based care programs. Our collaboratives focus on peer-to-peer learning supported by national expert invited faculty members.
