Chris Parker knows how lucky he is. As a senior in college back in 1989, he applied for an internship at something called a digital marketing agency. There was no public Internet then, no broadband or Wi-Fiā€¦just Compuserve, Bulletin Boards, and a 24.4 bps modem. Digital Marketing was something this agency just decided it was going to create. Things worked out. Now 30-plus years in, Chris has been running point on client strategies, business development, capability expansion and staff/agency operations for a series of successful agency groups, and having a blast doing so. Lucky guy indeed. Career Highlights One of the first employees at the first digital agency, Modem Media. While at Modem he ran JCPenney, AOL, Marriott, Kodak business, and helped lead award winning AT&T Olympic digital campaigns.

Jen can't sit still. She's spent her career searching out and creating stuff that hasn't been done before. While she spent a lot of time at BIG NYC agencies like Digitas, Y&R, and Wunderman, she never fit the mold of the traditional agency creative. She found herself more at home in little skunkworks groups within each agency that were ahead of the curve, blazing new trails. One of her favorite gigs was as a founding member of Y&R's Brand Buzz division created to help the traditional agency teams think in a 360 way. As a digital marketing pioneer, Mike throughout his career has built his clients' businesses by integrating the best of new digital technologies into the marketing mix. This entrepreneurial impetus led Mike - an early adopter of agile marketing - to recognize the need in the marketplace for an agile alternative to the increasingly obsolescent traditional advertising agency model. His solution: S50, formerly Scrum50, which he founded with partner Chris Parker. Structurally, S50 is a radical departure from the way most marketing agencies still do business. S50 is making inroads with blue-chip clients as its lean methodologies show the way to more creative and faster agency deliverables. S50's Agile model also helps clients retool their marketing departments and incorporate efficiencies demanded by today's dynamic marketplace. On his own time, he cultivates an immense garden that features several varieties of hot peppers that he incorporates in his cooking, which is another passion.
