The Southeast Biopower Coalition supports state and federal policies that ensure independent power producers have access to electricity markets. We promote all forms of renewable energy on a level playing field: wind, solar, geothermal, and other forms of biomass, such as the anaerobic digestion (AD) of manure and food byproducts... Biomass power plants utilize materials that would otherwise go to waste and help support the power grid.
