Austin joined the team in 2020 to help manage the growth and service standards of Providence. He brings extensive experience in Business Management, with a degree in the field from Evangel University. He also spent a number of years working for a local sign manufacturer, where he participated in and oversaw nearly every aspect of the business. This knowledge of large-scale operations informs his current work and ability to fill various roles. At Providence Financial, he enjoys working alongside a passionate staff, with the mutual goal of providing high-quality, long-term service for clients. Austin also minored in international business and history during his time at Evangel. Learning about 19th and 20th century European history was, and continues to be, an area of particular interest to him. Also an accomplished grillmaster; he's yet to meet a cut of meat he can't grill, smoke, or roast to perfection.

MaryAnn Semkin

The first hire of Providence Financial, MaryAnn has been with the business since its inception in 2009. She is currently the Director of Operations, where she oversees the daily functioning of the office, focusing on team support and retirement plans. Before joining the team, MaryAnn received her BA in Psychology from Rockhurst University. As a Licensed Customer Service Representative, she worked on the State of Missouri Deferred Compensation Plan for Nationwide Retirement Solutions. There she also met Andy, and their professional relationship has continued to this day. As the business has evolved over the years, she has helped fill many roles. Not only does she exhibit an impressive knowledge of the technical details involved in retirement strategies and office management, but she brings a deep, genuine level of care to each client relationship. MaryAnn and her husband Todd are the proud parents to Jackson. They are beginning a new chapter as empty nesters, as their son joins the United States Air Force. They are also active members of their local church community, Concord Baptist.

Sharon Cardwell

Sharon has been a part of Providence Financial since 2014, in the role of Business Development. Her favorite aspect of the job is creating and cultivating client relationships. She enjoys getting to know clients and assisting with finding financial strategies that support their families, goals, and values. With a degree in Accounting from Southwest Baptist University and 5 years of accounting experience, she brings an attention to detail and accuracy to the team. Her time as a Creative Memories Consultant for 15 years also allowed her to develop sales and communication expertise. She has created an ever-widening network of connections in the central Missouri community and beyond, that continually serves both the staff and clients of Providence Financial. Sharon and her husband Allan have two children, two granddaughters, and one puppy. She loves spending her time being social, whether in or out of the office. Traveling and beating her friends at the card game Nertz, are her favorite pastimes.
