SUNFEEDS

SunFeeds is a start-up based in Lund, Sweden. The start-up focuses on two things; developing a food product and formulating an approach to facilitate the product in, what we like to call, the right way... SunFeeds' products are new nutritional replacement foods based on sunflower kernels. Today there are two different SunFeeds aimed for different target groups. SunFeeds- RUTF is developed to meet the needs of children aged 6-59 months who suffer from severe malnutrition. SunFeeds -cream aims to meet the needs of elderly who are cared for in the healthcare- system... Our aim is to create a new RUTF-product, that could fill the existing gaps in the market (taste, price, accessibility), and to facilitate it in the right way. This is something we do by venturing on local production where the way of manufacturing is outlined from the SDGs and the needs and the knowledge from the region where the product is needed.
