Michelle has over 18 years of experience as a litigator and attorney, practicing in McHenry, Cook, Kane and DuPage Counties. Michelle also practices in federal court, both in Chicago and Rockford. She belongs to many local, national and international bar and trade associations. Michelle J. Rozovics received her B.A., with honors, from the University of Michigan and her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. Prior to opening her own law firm in 2006, Michelle obtained extensive experience as a litigator with mid-size and large law firms, and as in house staff counsel for Safeco Property & Casualty Insurance Company. In these positions she gained extensive knowledge of how insurance companies defend personal injury and medical malpractice lawsuits, which information she now uses to the advantage of her injured clients. Michelle is a former professor of law, both in McHenry County and at prestigious international law schools. She has numerous publications and has given presentations on many topics, including civil procedure, health care law, business law and international law. For nearly a decade she wrote the chapter in the handbook used by lawyers throughout Illinois which guides them on how to take depositions (IICLE, Oral Deposition Preparation, 2002, 2006, 2009)
