CDR Turner

CDR Turner, Majority Owner, created TST Fab & Machine after 24 years of service in the U.S. Navy. CDR Turner served numerous tours as a Helicopter Pilot, flying missions in support of Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Through CDR Turner's 24 years of operational and leadership experience as a Navy Commander, he became an intuitive leader who not only understands the process behind success, but also one who achieves that success safely and without compromise on the stated mission.

Eric Morgan

Eric Morgan is a professional manager with over 30 years of manufacturing experience. Eric brings to TST Fab & Machine a wealth of sheet metal and machining experience as he spent almost 20 years guiding a custom sheet metal and machining manufacturer located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Eric is a forward thinking, customer and employee first leader that utilizes a combination of formal and real-life training to build long term internal and external partnerships.

Matt Hemsley - President

Matt Hemsley heads up TST Fab & Machine, using his extensive experience in process management, contract management, and team leadership. As an Old Dominion grad with a degree in Civil Engineering, Matt brings a technical approach to leading our manufacturing operations. Matt's style of leadership is strongly based on partnering with customers, in-house workforce and vendors alike to achieve the common goal of meeting our customer's needs. Matt is a Chesapeake native and has a wife and 2 kids. For fun, Matt enjoys working on and trail riding his Jeep and hunting.

Shawn Kuhle

Shawn Kuhle has 20+ years of Business Leadership, Management and Federal Contracting experience. CDR Turner and Mr. Kuhle began their journey as business partners in 2007 with Turner Strategic Technologies, LLC (TST), a construction business specializing in facilities construction specifically for DOD. TST now has multiple offices throughout the US, over 200 employees and has successfully completed thousands of construction projects for many branches of DOD. TST Fab & Machine was formed in 2021 through acquisition of an existing metal fabrication shop in Norfolk, VA and machine shop in Chesapeake, VA. CDR Turner and Mr. Kuhle have since assembled the management staff, skilled trades personnel, and applied the processes, professionalism, safety practices and quality control to serve large commercial, industrial and government customers.
