Dr Rory K Boud (MBChB, MRCGP, BSc Hons) began his journey into health care in 2004 studying physiotherapy. He completed his degree with first class honours before undertaking medicine at The University of Aberdeen in Scotland as a post graduate. Dr Boud worked predominantly in the surgical specialties through his foundation, locum and GP specialty training including breast surgery, urology, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology and ear nose and throat surgery. Dr Boud especially enjoyed assisting in complex head and neck surgery due to the involvement and intricacy of the cases. In addition to working in acute medicine, the intensive treatment unit and palliative care medical specialties Dr Boud worked in dermatology splitting time between clinical dermatology and minor surgery removing lesions and skin cancers. Dr Boud still works as a locum GP within the NHS. Dr Boud's aesthetic work covers a broad spectrum including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, threads, lasers and skin care. Dr Boud also offers medical weight loss treatments. In 2020 Dr Boud became the first U.K. trainer for APTOS Threads training doctors and plastic surgeons in Manchester and London. In 2021 Dr Boud was asked to present at Aesthetic Medicine Live to The UK Association of Plastic Surgeons on Threads and their application. To date Dr Boud has performed the highest number of APTOS Thread lifts in the U.K. including body threads. In 2021 Dr Boud became a national and international trainer for Eufoton, training doctors and surgeons in Endolift a laser device that is used to tighten skin and remove fat. Dr Boud has been to Italy to train under Dr Riccardo Forte a pioneer in the Endolift device to expand his skill set in the UK. In 2022 Dr Rory was proud to be shortlisted as an Aesthetics Awards finalist for best non-surgical result. Having previously worked as a trainer in Knightsbridge London for KT Training Dr Boud has now set up his own training academy training doctors and nurses in the aesthetic industry. Dr Boud continues to grow and expand his skill set training in current and new treatments as well attending national and international conferences.

Lu is the RKB Aesthetics Clinic Manager. She has previous experience of working in private healthcare and is pleased to transition into the world of aesthetics. Lu gained a BA Hons degree in Public Relations at Bournemouth University and has trained in a variety of beauty treatments as well as fitness instructing, health & nutritional science and life coaching. Lu is trained in Specialist Laser Therapy and skincare and is pleased to offer bespoke skin packages and treatments including Chemical Peels, Cool Laser Jawline Skin Tightening & Hollywood Laser Peels and Skin Tightening with HIFU.
