- Oxford Customer Service Manager
Ben joined Podium as a Customer Service Assistant in 2014 and quickly developed great relationships with team members and clients alike, with his upbeat personality and willingness to help. He was promoted to Customer Service Manager in February 2022 and is committed to the smooth running of the centre, and to ensuring his clients are 100% happy.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys playing the guitar, writing music, going on holidays with friends/family, and going on long walks
Candy has been instrumental in developing and building the Podium portfolio and acquisition of new centres. Her technical experience, customer service and often required sense of humour has helped each centre to become a ground leader within each geographic region that Podium has a commercial presence.
Candy is responsible for the operational direction of the group and works closely with the area and centre managers ensuring each Podium centre is operating at the highest standard. Over the many years of service, Candy has formed strong relationships with many clients, so will often be found chatting to clients in the corridors wherever she goes.
Candy loves spending time in the village where she lives in Oxford and is an active member of the community fundraising for local causes. She is also a keen supporter of the local PTA and her favourite past times are spending time with her daughter, husband and dog Charlie. When Candy wants a quiet five minutes, she loves nothing more than to read a book or go on long walks.
Charlotte joined the company in 2010 with a strong background in operation management. Charlotte assists with the day-to-day running of the business centres across the Podium portfolio. Charlotte has an expert eye for customer service and with her keen attention to detail ensures the highest standards and procedures are adhered to at all times. Charlotte works within Head Office and oversees the profitability of the company with the billing department, customer care team, and facilities. Charlotte lives in Oxford and in her spare time she enjoys country walks, weekend breaks and is a qualified scuba diver. Her most recent dive was swimming with the wild dolphins in the Red Sea.
David has worked in senior finance roles in industry for over 15 years including many years in property related companies and worked earlier in his career for one of the big four accountancy firms. He has a high attention to detail and a firm grasp on the finance and administration of the business alongside monitoring the performance of individual centres, overseeing the accounts team and supporting the rest of the business.
Julian Cooper - Founder, Managing Director
Julian is Podium's founder and Managing Director and is responsible for overall operational strategy and management of the businesses. He particularly enjoys sourcing and opening new sites and has great input into the layout, design and style of the centres. He has over twenty years' experience in the flex office market, from humble beginnings in a small property in central Oxford - he was a one man operation - front of house, sales and marketing, and even cleaning to begin with, giving him a wonderful insight into every area of the business and what clients are really looking for in their flex office provider.
Julian lives in Dorset with his young family and outside of work focuses on enjoying life and spending downtime dabbling in various sports and hobbies. He is keen to note that whilst a jack of many sports he is a master of none, especially golf.

Lucy joined Podium after working for ten years as part of the in-house legal team at a large sports and fashion brand owner in London. A trained Paralegal and Legal Secretary, Lucy provides legal support to Podium along with supporting Julian and the business as Julian's PA, and managing the Bournemouth centre.
Lucy lives in Dorset with her husband and two children where she makes the most of the beautiful countryside. When not out getting muddy boots or sandy toes, Lucy loves to watch movies, read, play computer games and drink tea. Lucy is also a keen skier and is happiest when skiing in the French Alpes in the sunshine.

Marwa joined Podium in 2022 as a Customer Service Manager at our Ealing centre, before being promoted to Centre Manager of Podium's Ealing & Chiswick locations in May 2023.A further promotion took Marwa to the City, to manage our Longcroft House centre in October 2023.
With 8 years customer service experience before joining Podium, Marwa is passionate about creating communities within her centres. By hosting regular client events such as cultural celebrations , the famous Ealing Cross brunches and sporting events like the recent football world cup, Marwa has developed a great relationship with her clients who all get fully involved in Podium life.
In her spare time Marwa is passionate about Modest Fashion, social media, travelling and loves spending time with family.

Millie Pepperrell-Gray joined Podium in 2009. Based at Oxford East Point, Millie started her Podium career as a Customer Service Assistant before being promoted to her current role of Customer Service Manager in February 2013. Never afraid to get her hands dirty, Millie has been known to paint bathrooms, deal with basement floods and overflowing toilets, and over the years moving hundreds of chairs up and down the stairs in a building with no lift.
A talented artist in her spare time, Millie has two young sons and juggles this with a demanding role at Podium.

Sylvia is a CIMA qualified accountant, with varied experience gained in a variety of sectors from a small charity in London, to a large national bank and international entertainment business. Sylvia joined the Podium finance team in Bournemouth in 2022 and enjoys the small team environment. In addition to her busy role at Podium, she also co-runs a Bournemouth based Community Interest Company.
In her free time Sylvia enjoys coastal walks, exploring the countryside and spending time with family and friends.
