As one of our healthcare assistants, Alison is responsible for helping the surgeons in theatre and is especially good at putting patients at ease before, during, and after surgery. She is a calming presence who is happy to offer a hand to hold and is always ready to help to talk patients through any nervousness they might have.

Alongside his role at Coppergate Clinic, Jonny works at Leeds General Infirmary as a consultant anaesthetist, having joined in 2019.
Prior to this, Jonny studied at Leeds University where he received a BSc in Anatomy.
Jonny specialises in acute pain, trauma, and neuro anaesthesia.

Whether coordinating surgical procedures or providing post-operative advice, Heather is on hand to guide patients through their treatment journey, ensuring they are supported and informed at every stage.
Joanne joined the Coppergate Clinic team in 2012, working initially within the front of house team, before going on to take on additional team coordination and management responsibilities. More recently Joanne found her niche managing the Clinic's Accounts, Payroll and Office/HR administration.
Theatre Manager, Katie, was appointed as Coppergate Clinic's full time Theatre Manager in 2021, joining the team with over 14 years experience gained in NHS operating theatres. Within the operational aspect of her role, Katie is responsible for overseeing theatre staffing, equipment, maintenance and replenishment. Katie also works closely with patients prior to undergoing surgery to ensure all pre-assessment information is accurate and complete prior to the date of surgery.
When Katie is not busy helping patients, she is often found walking her dog Alfie or weightlifting, for which she even won a gold medal for in her category in 2019.

Lynne is a very valued scrub nurse here at Coppergate and has a wealth of experience to draw upon. She registered as a nurse at Leeds University and with forty years of work under her belt she is well-established in her field and very talented at what she does.
Lynne joined the Coppergate team in 2021 and alongside working here she also works at Leeds Teachings Hospitals Trust where she does work in plastic and reconstructive work.

Having worked within some of the U.K.'s largest plastic surgery units, Consultant Plastic Surgeon Miss Ciarstan McArdle has a specialist interest in microsurgery and perineal reconstruction. Ciarstan joined the team at Coppergate Clinic in 2023, where she is pleased to offer patients a range of plastic surgery including cosmetic procedures, skin oncology and reconstructive surgery.
Molly graduated from the University of Edinburgh in May 2023 with a degree in English Literature and History of Art.
She is responsible for assisting with anything that comes under the bracket of marketing, and so, each day looks very different to the last for her. Molly has a keen interest in writing and so particularly enjoys the aspects of her role that offer her the opportunity to hone this skill.
Having never worked within this industry before she also thoroughly enjoys the chance to learn more about it each day.
In her free time Molly enjoys doing art and running.

Mr Platt is currently a council member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons having previously served on council at The British Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Chris is a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is also on the GMC Specialist Register for plastic surgery.

As part of his NHS work at the LGI, Mr Bhat is a member of the team for the national hand transplant programme. A recognised leader in his field, Mr Bhat shares his expertise, teaching national and international courses on reconstructive plastic surgery including complex limb reconstruction, nerve injuries and hand surgery.

Nicki has been a part of the Coppergate team since February 2022.
Prior to joining us, she worked for ten years on the ward at Selby War Memorial Hospital and also worked at York Hospital for 23 years, meaning overall she has spent a very impressive 33 years working in the NHS. Initially starting in the breast cancer unit, she then moved to work in urology, breast, and general surgery theatres.
At Coppergate, Nicki's role involves assisting in theatre and comforting patients throughout their procedures. It goes without saying that Nicki has a lot of experience in her field and as a result she often receives feedback from patients thanking her for her reassuring presence during their time here.
On weekends she enjoys going on walks in the nearby countryside and beaches and spending time with her grandchildren.
