With more than 20 years' experience in quality-related roles, he has worked in various industries, from pharmaceutical wholesaling to community pharmacy, covering the UK and EEA, and for companies such as Celesio and Bilfinger GmbH.

Allan Morgan

Job Titles:
  • Vice President of Business Development
Allan has worked in the life sciences industry for over 25 years, having held Senior Director and Area Vice President level positions at leading global commercial pharma companies, including GSK and Astra Zeneca. Prior to joining Sciensus Rare, Allan was a Senior Director of Business Development with IQVIA, working with biotech's and mid-size clients globally in R&D Business Development. Allan has extensive knowledge and experience in sales, sales leadership, marketing, managed markets, and Business Development.

Andrew Cummins

Job Titles:
  • Vice President - Access and Reimbursement
Andrew has over 25 years of senior international commercial leadership roles in pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He has specialist experience, having had responsibility of leadership, commercial operation and financial performance of providing access to medicines at Idis/Clinigen, Caligor and Inceptua.

André Müller

Job Titles:
  • General Manager - Northern Europe
André has a successful business career in life sciences, spanning over 20 years. He is a seasoned commercial manager experienced in running international projects and commercial product launches in biopharmaceutical and non-profit organizations with a focus on rare diseases. Prior to becoming general manager for the Northern European countries, André worked in senior commercial positions in orphan drug and specialty biopharma companies like Santhera, Alexion, Sanofi and UCB in various countries. Like most of the Dutch citizens, André is multilingual and a true European.

Anja Verstegen

Anja Verstegen Responsible Person Anja is based in the Netherlands overseeing all GDP related activity and has 24 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry, both in manufacturing and warehousing and distribution organisations. As a Qualified Person she has been responsible for the secondary packaging of Orphan Drugs.

Charlotte Evans

Job Titles:
  • Account Executive
Charlotte is involved in developing strategic plans for clients, looking at areas to optimise the ultra-rare business for Sciensus. Leading on key account and business development activities, whilst supporting commercial analysis, along with internal and external change procedures. A first-class law graduate from Staffordshire University, with previous experience of supporting the NHS with prescription management to ensure timely and accurate dispensing of vital medication following their treatment pathways.

David Chantry

Job Titles:
  • Clinical Services Lead
David is responsible for the quality, safety and operational elements of clinical activities within our rare disease programmes. He has over 25 years' experience working in the healthcare sector, in both the public and private sectors, working in general surgery, critical care, the medical devices industry, secure custodial healthcare and complex homecare. As an experienced Registered Nurse, David is focused on the design and development of clinical service pathways, in accordance with the requirements of our clients, which promote evidence-based, high standards of quality and safety, as well as positive patient experiences and outcomes, whilst ensuring clinical regulatory compliance.

David Sullivan

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
David is responsible for managing the onboarding and implementation of new clients in the rare diseases market. David has over five years' experience within the pharmaceutical storage, packaging and distribution industry handling a broad range of commercial and early access programmes, including multiple small orphan rare disease products. In addition, David has been responsible for launching a range of clinical trial projects across the UK, EU and global marketplaces.

Francesca Varriano

Francesca is responsible for ensuring our clinicians, hospitals, pharmacies and wholesalers have a seamless and high quality experience accessing the medicines that their patients need. Speaking 5 languages and with more than 8 years' experience in international customer services, Francesca has a deep level of knowledge of the customer base across the EUMEA markets and her speciality is in country public procurement processes.

Gareth Williams - President

Gareth has executive responsibility for our Rare disease business. He has over 18 years' experience working within pharmaceutical companies such as Janssen and Nycomed in sales and marketing roles before working for IQVIA as Market Access Director, EMEA, developing and implementing market access and patient support services.

Habiba Mossallem

Job Titles:
  • GCP Certified Pharmacist
Habiba is a GCP certified pharmacist with extensive experience across the healthcare industry; from working in community and hospital pharmacies across Canada and the UK to being a University Teacher's Assistant. After completing her MSc in Clinical Drug Development, she made the move to the business side of pharma as a Market Access Analyst before joining the team as International Insights Lead. Habiba uses her pharmacy background and her understanding of HTA processes across major markets to scan the orphan and rare disease horizon, providing in-depth analysis on drugs profitability and likelihood of approval. Habiba is fluent in both English and Arabic.

Ivan Szucs

Ivan is based in Germany and he is responsible for our customer service operation outside of the UK. He has over 15 years of experience in customer service - half time of that in the premium automotive business, managing and developing programmes to ensure consistent and premium customer experience.

Julie Wilkinson

Julie is responsible for the rare diseases project management and implementation of onboarding all new clients, and has over 10 years' experience as a Senior Project Manager. She has vast experience working across multiple multinational environments for high-profile companies in healthcare, finance, operations and logistics for organisations including UDG / Ashfield, Barclays and Santander.

Mathieu Loiseau

Job Titles:
  • Head of Rare Clinical Operations
Mathieu has over 20 years' experience within the healthcare industry. He qualified as a nurse in France and spent most of his career working in cancer and palliative care, both within public and private organisations. He also has extensive experience of leading clinical workforces, delivering highly complex drug administration within the home environment in France and in the UK. He has built a number of complex treatment pathways to augment clinical practice in different countries within the EU. Mathieu is passionate about technological innovation and digital health for the improvement of patient experience and outcomes. He is a true European with professional connections all over the continent, fluent in French and Portuguese and with some knowledge of Spanish and German.

Pedro Ardines

Pedro has extensive Early Access Programmes (EAPs) experience from working in various roles within companies such as Idis, Clinigen and Inceptua. He has significant knowledge of the full product life-cycle for pre and post-approval medicines, as well as having assisted pharmacists, clinicians, and wholesalers to access medicines by ordering via EAPs - helping them to navigate through regulatory, quality, and supply chain hurdles. His current role involves working with internal stakeholders to establish and review new country set up requirements for new and existing projects. Pedro is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Sammi Heffer

Sharron Pearce

Sharron oversees client and customer relationships and manages the teams responsible for delivery of service excellence, exceeding contractual expectations and strategic development. Sharron has 22 years' experience in the healthcare sector, 15 of those with blue-chip pharma companies. She has extensive experience in key account management, business development and market access and has worked with many public and private healthcare organisations to deliver complex programmes and projects.

Suzel Campos

Suzel is a connoisseur of the pharmaceutical market, in both hospital and primary care business settings, with over thirty years' experience and success in the worlds of life sciences and rare diseases. She has held leadership roles in sales, business development, and market access. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, she has extensive knowledge of international markets and multicultural environments. Her work in pharmaceutical companies including AstraZeneca, Baxter, Vifor Pharma and, most recently, Santhera Pharmaceuticals has further fuelled Suzel's passion for research into rare diseases.

Yalcin Trana

Yalcin is an economist by background and is the Business Development Director for Sciensus Rare based in Istanbul. He started his professional life in Switzerland, followed by spells in Turkey, the United States and the Netherlands for various global companies, like Citibank, Honda, Colgate Palmolive, Eli Lilly & Co., and Sanofi Genzyme. He has a background in investment banking, automotive, FMCG and has for the last 25 years worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a commercial executive. He has a passion for the rare disease area which has been his focus since 2007.
