Ben Ciotti - CTO

Mr. Ciotti is a chemical engineer and received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.  He has experience in process design and engineering, manufacturing, heat transfer, business development, and mechanical design. Upon graduation, Mr. Ciotti worked as a Sales and Design Engineer for a manufacturer's rep. Company specializing in heat transfer and fluid flow.  Mr. Ciotti joined Reset Energy in 2014 as the principal process engineer and assisted in sales, design, project management, and operations roles. In Mr. Ciotti's current role, he manages the technology and product development group at Reset Energy, which involves evaluating emerging technology for viability. Under Mr. Ciotti's leadership, Reset Energy has developed a machine learning-powered operations tool and hydrogen generation and carbon management technologies.

Chris Villegas - COO

Mr. Villegas is Chief Operating Officer of American Hydrogen, LLC and has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry. More specifically, his roles and responsibilities have included: facility operations support, conceptual design and licensing technology, engineering, manufacturing, and turn-key installations. In 2008, Mr. Villegas founded Heroes Energy Solutions, LLC (HES) which provided consulting services and equipment sourcing to the Midstream industry. In 2011, this entrepreneurship led to relationships that landed Mr. Villegas as Chief Operating Officer and partner at AEI Group, LP. In this position, Mr. Villegas was responsible for the diversification of the business, generating over $300M in revenue with divisions in process systems manufacturing and field construction. This included gas treating, liquids handling, and NGL extraction for over 1.5 BCFD of natural gas, 160,000 BPD of condensate, and 100,000 BPD of NGL's. In 2018, Mr. Villegas returned to HES which was acquired by Reset Energy, LP in 2020. He assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Reset, providing vision for the business moving forward. Mr. Villegas has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University.

Garath Fulks

Mr. Fulks graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and started his work career as a Project Manager in the Medical Device industry, managing projects in cleanrooms and datacenters. He joined Reset Energy as a process engineer and quickly became a leader in plant process engineering, project management, plant commissioning, and troubleshooting. As the markets evolved, he moved into Reset's Process Technology group and began to work to research and identify new technologies and business sectors to expand Reset's product offering. Specific areas of concentration are Carbon Capture and Sequestration, Hydrogen Generation and Remote operation and Machine Learning based plant optimization.

Greg Brooks - CEO, President

The Founder and President of American Hydrogen, Mr. Brooks has more than 35 years of experience in the energy industry. His primary experience is in the areas of engineering, operations, construction and business development. Prior to founding American Hydrogen, Mr. Brooks served as the Vice President of Engineering for Frontier Energy Services. At Frontier, Mr. Brooks was responsible for engineering design, procurement, construction and project management for the development and construction of the Alpha Crude Connector (ACC), an oil gathering system located in southeast New Mexico and West Texas. The ACC oil gathering system was comprised of more than 350 central tank battery receipt points, 500 miles of pipeline, and four separate pumping stations with 350,000 barrels of storage capacity. Prior to his work at Frontier Energy Services, Mr. Brooks served as Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Seminole Energy Services from 2004 to 2014. During his tenure at Seminole, Mr. Brooks was instrumental in the growth of the firm's midstream services division, leading development of grass root projects in gathering, processing, treating and rail terminal facilities in the Mid-Continent and Mid-Atlantic regions. Mr. Brooks was also one of the founding members of Impact Energy Services, a mid-stream services company, where he served as Vice President of Engineering and Operations until the sale of the company to Seminole Energy Services. Mr. Brooks received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.

Nick Rohleder - CFO

Mr. Rohleder is the Chief Financial Officer of American Hydrogen. In addition to this, Mr. Rohleder is the Co-Chief Executive Officer at New American Energy, a vertically integrated asset management firm focused on the clean & environmental technology sector. Mr. Rohleder serves on the boards of the following companies: waste remediation technology provider BioHiTech Global (NASDAQ: BHTG), clean & environmental technology investment bank Ardour Capital, and climate-focused media platform Climate & Capital Media. In addition to this, Mr. Rohleder serves on the Sustainability Management Alumni Board at Columbia University's Earth Institute, and serves as a mentor for Atento Capital's Entrepreneur in Residence program, an investing unit of the George Kaiser Family Foundation. Prior to this, Mr. Rohleder was a Portfolio Manager at New American Energy, responsible for the implementation of the firm's pure play clean & environmental technology investment strategy. Prior to joining New American Energy, Mr. Rohleder serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Merit Holdings Group, a private ESG investment firm. Mr. Rohleder began his career at Dwight Capital. Mr. Rohleder received a Master of Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environmental Engineering & Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Sustainability Management with a concentration in Environmental Economics from Columbia University.

Stephen Brooks - Chief Commercial Officer

Mr. Brooks serves as the Chief Commercial Officer for American Hydrogen. His experience encompasses upstream E&P operations, midstream system design and construction, and the development of renewable energy infrastructure. Prior to joining the American Hydrogen team, Mr. Brooks served as the Director of Engineering for Lone Cypress Midstream Services. During his Lone Cypress tenure, Mr. Brooks was involved in the engineering design, materials procurement, and construction of a wide range of energy infrastructure. This infrastructure includes gas cryogenic plants, crude and natural gas gathering systems, wellhead treating and process facilities, CDPs and compressor stations in the Oklahoma STACK and Texas Austin Chalk formations. Prior to joining the Lone Cypress team, Mr. Brooks worked as the Engineering Project Manager for UMC Energy Solutions, a production equipment manufacturer based out of Midland, TX, and as a Reliability Engineer for Explorer Pipeline. Mr. Brooks received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Tulsa.

Steve Scribner

Mr. Scribner began his career in the oil and gas services industry in 1991.  He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University receiving a B.B.A. in Finance. ​He has spent the last 30 years in the natural gas facilities business beginning with Hanover Compression in 1991 and joining Valerus Compression Services in 2004 as a founding partner eventually assuming the role of Director of Sales before departing in 2012.  Since then, Mr. Scribner has experienced a wide array of commercial responsibilities in the oil & gas facilities equipment sales and rental businesses, assuming roles as VP of Business Development and VP of Marketing and Sales with several fabrication companies. In 2016 he joined Reset Energy as the VP of Business Development and has utilized his ability to network with and nurture both newly formed and longtime professional relationships to provide significant growth opportunities for the company. Mr. Scribner is a member of the Permian Basin International Oil Show Board of Directors (PBIOS) as well as a member of the National Gas Processors Suppliers Association (GPSA) Board of Directors.
