Deirdre qualified as an Optometrist in Dublin. Having worked in Galway for 2 years, she moved back home to Sligo to open her practice. Always passionate about progressing her optical expertise, Deirdre has a specific interest in Contact Lenses and Macular Degeneration. She has been involved in the award winning, national HSE pilot programme providing aftercare for post cataract patients, since its inception. Deirdre, along with Nuala and Tara has recently been awarded a qualification from Ulster University for the treatment and management of Minor Eye Conditions.
