Chris Olson

Coach Olson was hired in 2006 as the Girls' Varsity Head Coach at D'Evelyn High School. Entering his 16th season, the girls Varsity team has a record of 257-110. With 7 appearances in the Sweet 16, 5 straight Great 8 appearances, 4 20+ win seasons, 4 Jeffco League Championships, and 2 State Runners Up in Class 4A, the Jags are considered one of the best girls basketball programs in the state of Colorado. Known for running the fast break, pressing full court, and shooting a bunch of 3's, the Jags are fun to watch! And in those 16 years, 11 girls have continued playing basketball in college and 13 more have received scholarships in other sports.

Justin Rossetter

Justin Rossetter has been a coach in the DYBA program since 2020. He joined the DYBA leadership team in 2023 as the Boys Coordinator. He has additional coaching experience in other youth sports as well. He grew up in Indiana playing HS basketball and enjoys instilling confidence in kids of all ages!

Matt Rogers

  • Evelyn Varsity Boys Head Coach
Coach Rogers was named the new Head Boys' Basketball Coach at D'Evelyn High School in April of 2023, beginning his 14th season as a Head College and High School coach. He was also a Director of Athletics and Associate Director of Athletics at the NCAA D3 and D2 levels for 8 years. Coach spent 3 years at Whitfield School in St. Louis, MO, where he was instrumental in leading the boys' program to the Class 2A State Championship. He followed that up with 9 years at Maryville University of St. Louis where he led the men's program to 2 Conference Championships, 2 NCAA Division III National Tournament berths, and was twice named Conference Coach of the Year. Coach also spent 3 years as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at the University of La Verne, where they broke the NCAA Women's Record for the most 3-pointers made in one game (26), led the country in 3-point shooting, and were 2nd in the country in scoring. From 2014-2023, Coach served as Head Scout and Director of Team Solutions at NCSA where he helped over 4000 student-athletes achieve their dream of playing their sport in college.

Michelle Ziemian

Michelle Ziemian took over the Director role in 2020. She has been a DYBA coach and parent since 2018 and won a league championship with her team in her second year with DYBA. She has also coached her children in other area basketball leagues. Michelle played college basketball and volleyball for MIT and continues to play pick up from time to time. She has recently become a tennis player and enjoys playing in local leagues. She has a passion for helping children develop as players and people through the sport of basketball.
