DOCTORS APPRAISAL SERVICES

After years of providing NHS and private appraisals to numerous Responsible Officers and Designated bodies, our Program Director decided to establish Doctors Appraisal Services (DAS), with the aforementioned mission statement as its key driver. The intention of DAS is to provide high quality appraisal service and submit timely and complete outcome reports to both the General Medical Council and Private Designated Bodies... All Doctors employed by DAS meet the Appraiser Specification outlined by NHS England and The General Medical Council, both in their initial and ongoing training (4). Doctors working for DAS are experienced appraisers, who carry out over 30 appraisals annually. These Doctors are required to maintain a log of relevant CPD, by attending annual refresher courses externally, as well as quarterly internal meetings.
