Azeem has 5 years' experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors as principal investor, financial advisor and corporate planner, covering a wide range of geographies including UK, Ireland and LatAm.
Prior to Elgar Middleton, Azeem worked in the Infrastructure Projects and Principal team at Macquarie Capital and before then, at National Grid Ventures.
Azeem holds a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from LSE, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and is a CFA charterholder.
Daniel has 19 years' experience as a specialist in the financial modelling of project finance transactions. Daniel has considerable experience in building complex models, and significant tax, accounting and structuring expertise.
Edward Elgar is a founding partner of Elgar Middleton with over 25 years' experience in project finance. Edward has advised on more than 25 completed transactions in the renewable energy (solar, wind and bio-power) since 2012. These projects have been both pre and post construction and both single asset and multi asset portfolio projects. He also has significant experience financing government projects across many sectors including transport, defence, health and schools; both pre- and post-construction.
Prior to Elgar Middleton, Edward held roles in property at Grosvenor Estate and in government contracting at Serco.
Edward holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and a degree from City University London.
James has over 20 years' experience working in project finance as borrower's financial advisor, lender or lender's financial advisor. He has significant experience providing modelling and advisory services renewable sector financing, across the UK and Australia totalling over 1GW of installed capacity.
James was previously an Associate Director at HSBC in their Project and Export Finance team and before then, worked at Operis.
James holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Leeds.
Simon has over 30 years' experience on over 100 closed new build or acquisition projects. Simon has closed projects in all major continents during his career.
Prior to Elgar Middleton, Simon was the Head of Project Finance Europe at National Australian Bank and before then, held positions at SMBC, Hill Samuel, and Barclays.
Simon holds an MA in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

Teresa is an experienced Chartered Certified Accountant. She has been the company accountant at Elgar Middleton since the business began in 2006 and takes responsibility for all accounting, salary and tax matters. She is also responsible for the financial aspects of FCA regulatory reporting and compliance.
Tom has 10 years' experience in infrastructure & energy financial advisory roles, covering a wide range of geographies including the UK & Ireland, wider EMEA and North America.
Prior to Elgar Middleton, Tom was at TradeRisks Ltd and before then, at Operis.
Tom holds a BA in Mathematics from Oxford, an MPhil in Philosophy from UCL, and is a CFA charterholder.
William has 2 years' experience as a corporate finance advisor, covering predominantly the UK & Ireland.
Prior to joining Elgar Middleton, William worked for a boutique corporate finance advisory firm specialising in M&A transactions, on both the buy and sell side.
William holds a BSc in Management from the University of St Andrews.
