Adam Sanchez

cross Adam Sanchez Rehabilitation Coach Adam received a BSc Honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Glamorgan. Adam completed his dissertation on the subject of cardiac rehabilitation, which is where his interest in rehabilitation began. Adam initially pursued a career as a fitness instructor/personal trainer before joining our clinic and has now been part of the rehabilitation team here at Equinox for the past 5 years.

Anissa Tang

Job Titles:

Anissa is our newest member of the team and is originally from Hong Kong, moving to the U.K to study in 2012 attending Christ College Brecon. She then went on to study Physiotherapy at University of Bradford. Anissa graduated with a 1st and moved back to Wales to work with Equinox in the Autumn of 2020.

Bethan Drinkall

Beth qualified from Pinderfields College of Physiotherapy in 1988. She became co-managing director of Equinox Physiotherapy Partnership Ltd in 2002. Beth manages a busy active caseload of patients with a neurological impairment specialising in paediatric neurology in addition to her directorial role. Beth is chair of Ski4All Wales, Vice President of Verbier4All and Sits on the board of Directors of Snowsports Wales as their safeguarding and equality officer.

Bronwen Warner

After qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 2001 from the University of Witwatersand, South Africa, Bronwen has developed an extensive set of skills within her profession as a paediatric physiotherapist. Bronwen began her journey of Physiotherapy in the UK at the Neath Port Talbot Hospital as a Specialist Community Paediatric Physiotherapist. Bronwen is a part time clinician for Technology In Motion, running clinics in Swansea and Cardiff. Within this role the key responsibilities include assessment, advice and treatment for babies with Plagiocephaly and/or Brachycephaly.

Chris Connors

Chris qualified as a physiotherapist in 2010 from Cardiff University. Chris mainly specialises in Occupational Health and Ergonomics in addition to his Musculoskeletal and Neurological caseloads. After qualifying, Chris began at Equinox as an Occupational Health Physiotherapist within the DVLA, which provided him with a variety of new experiences and knowledge within the ergonomic physiotherapy field. Chris has developed his occupational health based physiotherapy skills with an online and telemedicine service but continues to support Equinox whenever he can.

Elizabeth Sutton-Smith

Liz has been with Equinox since 2011 and has provided us with exceptional office administration, showing organisational qualities and greeting clients with a friendly smile. With a background in finance and accounting, Liz is able to keep a firm grip on the company's development and has also been able to progress further within her administration role and undertake various clerical responsibilities.

Joanne Inkin

  • Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist
Jo qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1997. Joanne has gained effective and practical skills in many aspects of Physiotherapy. Having worked in the independent sector for 16 years, initially in adult neurological services, Joanne Is now primarily providing paediatric physiotherapy services here at Equinox. Jo has worked to develop strong relationships with case managers within the medico legal industry, as well as with solicitors and other professionals.

Joe Bate

Joe Bate from Pembrokeshire has recently started working with Equinox Physiotherapy after passing his Diploma in personal training. He is also a Level 2 swim teacher and has been teaching for over 5 years. His workload at the moment is mainly pool based working with clients of all ages, helping them to be more independent and confident in the water. Joe also has experience in leisure centre management and is familiar with the leisure activity environment and so can support client with their personal development and goals in this environment.

Mia Martin

cross Mia Martin Rehabilitation Coach Mia studied Sports and Exercise Science at Cardiff Metropolitan, achieving a first class honours degree, which specialised in physiology, psychology and biomechanics of sport. Mia continued her study with an academic scholarship to recently complete an Msc in Sport and Exercise Science, focusing on Injury Biomechanics. Mia is now in Cardiff University studying for her degree in Physiotherapy and remains an important asset to the practice.

Michael Douglas

Doug qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in Coventry University in 1988. He jointly started Equinox Physiotherapy Partnership Ltd with his colleague Beth in 2002. He provides both a clinical and administrative role in the company that specialises in sub-acute brain injured and neurologically impaired clients both in places of care and in the community. A proportion of Doug's clinical activity is expert witness reporting for the courts.

Peter Lincoln

Peter is a specialist musculo skeletal therapist mixing skilled soft tissue techniques with his osteopath training. Peter began his journey as a care professional and support worker and progressed to managing a domicillary care service. On completing Osteopathy training at Swansea University, Pete went on to set up Western Bay Massage. Pete's therapy skills and holistic understanding of physical disability have made him an invaluable member of the ever-growing Equinox team.

Simon Pritchard

Simon Pritchard is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a wide range of experience in Physiotherapy in the National Health Service and Private sector. Simon has a particular interest in neurological and musculoskeletal issues. Simon provides rehabilitation and exercise programmes for a wide range of clients within Equinox and he also has a level four diploma in Sport massage. He is currently assisting in the Swansea City development squad providing physiotherapy support.

Sonia Hopwood

cross Sonia Hopwood Rehabilitation Coach Sonia offers a unique service for clients through Pilates and Yoga to help with core strength and balance. Sonia actively teaches Pilates and Hatha Yoga around Carmarthenshire and provides tailor made programmes for clients here at Equinox. Currently, Sonia is studying for her degree in Osteopathy at Keele University Staffordshire which will further her skill set in the clients she treats here.
