GREEN SALON COLLECTIVE

At Green Salon Collective, we are the original authority on salon sustainability throughout the UK and Ireland. We recycle, compost and recover: hair, used foils, empty colour tubes, chemicals, PPE, plastic, paper and even salon towels... Our key goal is to recycle and reuse salon waste, focusing on specialist items like hair and metal. We use hair in over 10 different ways, including cleaning up oil spills, and donate all our profits from recycling metals. We compost salon towels. We generate energy from chemical waste and PPE... We believe knowledge is an incredibly important tool for addressing environmental and social issues. We help to empower our members, as well as the wider industry, with up-to-date and verifiable information related to all things sustainability.
