SUSTAINABLE HUDDERSFIELD

The first strand of our work focuses on bringing people together to address local challenges. We have working groups in five different areas, supporting green businesses, tackling loneliness and decarbonising transport... Our second focus is on capturing local activity, trends and challenges in a report which will be submitted to the UN. Communities all over the world are producing these reports, called Voluntary Local Reviews. Together, they enable towns and cities to celebrate their successes and share ways to address challenges... We are using the Sustainable Development Goals to build a greener, fairer and more prosperous Huddersfield.
