Mr. Yates is the Chief Executive Officer of iPEL, Inc. After graduating from Loyola Law School, he spent a decade representing technology companies and inventors in all aspects of intellectual property, with a particular emphasis on patent rights. In late 2010, Mr. Yates became an entrepreneur and started his first technology company, which began a whole new professional path. In early 2011, he stopped practicing law and pursued his passion for technology and innovation on a full-time basis.
From 2010 to 2018, Mr. Yates became the founder of more than 40 technology companies. While each company was focused on a different aspect of technology, each company had secured intellectual property to help protect their market space. Mr. Yates did not personally invent all of those amazing technologies, but instead he partnered with extremely talented and innovative people and companies. As the owner of those companies, he successfully licensed these novel patented technologies to more than 1,000 companies, including most of the leading technology companies in the world.
Based on his successes as an entrepreneur, many investors wanted to partner with Mr. Yates. In order to achieve even greater impact, in 2017, Mr. Yates partnered with the prominent patent trial attorney, Rasheed McWilliams, to create a new company, iPEL, Inc., which secured $100 million in initial capital.

Mr. Young has extensive experience in creating and leading asset-based businesses. He is skilled at maximizing net operating income and sourcing secured financing and tax-oriented equity.
He established a full-service asset management operation for a national solar services company, including the sourcing of providers for specialized services, coordinating these vendors with in-house services, and creating performance metrics for the solar assets and the service providers. Additionally, he created financial feasibility models to analyze roof top solar developments under power purchase and owner-user business models, and via leveraged and/or leased capital structures.
Earlier, Mr. Young launched a development firm specializing in the highly regulated and segmented Charter School industry. He established an affiliation with an existing nationwide real estate services firm in order to have a nationwide footprint day one. He also formulated business and marketing plans to launch and operate multiple asset-based businesses. The successful execution of these plans leads to investment pipelines as large as $120 million.
Mr. Young also lead a mortgage loan administration department that maintained profitability and superior collection rates relative to peers on a $800+ million income property loan and REO portfolio during a severe real estate slump. Success was attributed to intense mentoring and coaching of staff to create a collaborative team that anticipated problems as well as opportunities. He also orchestrated $300 million in public equity syndications where he coordinated and scheduled the team's efforts, prepared operational budgets, and variance action plans, and assured the team's work product remained consistent with company goals and overall business philosophy.
Mr. Young received his MBA from the Booth Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago. Was awarded a scholarship to participate in a 6-month student exchange at the London Business School at London University and received a BBA with Honors in Finance and Banking from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Mr Holt has more than twenty years of experience in the energy, insurance, finance, and technology sectors with a focus on innovation and building teams. He has extensive experience in engineering, product design, production implementation and IP development, as well as funding strategies for innovative technologies and commercial products.
Over the last ten years, Mr Holt has spent extensive time in the UK gaining expertise in the London insurance market and specifically, risk transfer as related to structured finance transactions. He has developed a broad network of experts and advisors. These efforts and relationships led to the formation of Traust Structured. The transactions facilitated by Traust, leverage the value of intangible assets owned by innovative companies. These intangibles, often include patents, data and trademarks, are professionally valued and insured, allowing them to be used as collateral to secure debt financing for product launches & corporate growth. The Traust structure provides capital in larger amounts and at a lower cost than these companies typically access through traditional debt or equity offerings.
Previously, Mr Holt spent more than thirteen years building a company and leading a team of experts focused on the financing, logistics, engineering, installation, and maintenance of the microgrid infrastructure throughout Alaska. These autonomous systems often utilized wind and solar to generate the electrical power required in these harsh environments and remote locations, creating a true microgrid, as there was often no adjacent utility. Mr Holt secured, engineered, and managed the successful completion of microgrid projects for the Alaska Energy Authority, Department of Defense including Air Force, Army and the Coast Guard installations, petroleum drill rigs, oil production/exploration locations and municipal projects. The power expertise developed by Mr Holt and his company allowed them to secure a Master Services Agreement with Chevron Corporation, which greatly expanded opportunities in the energy market.
Additionally, he has originated and facilitated numerous commodity transactions, including oil and gas, utilizing his industry experience and strategic relationships. He currently serves several early-stage companies in the Director, Officer or Advisor capacity providing insight and focus on business strategy, technology commercialization and deal structure.

Ed Marin is an Aerospace Entrepreneur living in New York, with his wife, daughters and son. He founded and consulted for several companies focused on commercialization of advanced technologies. His leadership and team building skills allowed him to nurture innovative concepts and troubled businesses by identifying opportunities, reducing risks and creating executable visions. Being well traveled and having a diverse background provided the opportunity to hone skills throughout a broad range of markets and at an international level. His knowledge base extends to engineering, manufacturing, production, operations, commercialization and financing. Ed led production and research & development programs for commercial and government entities such as NASA, Navy and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. His programs ranged from carbon fiber and fiberglass composites, high temperature ceramic matrix composites for rocket nozzles, to body armor and manufacturing of flight vehicle systems. Ed was awarded patents in the areas of Renewable Energy, Aerodynamics, Nanotechnology and Ceramic Matrix Composites.
Prior to embarking onto the small business adventure, Mr. Marin served as an Advanced Propulsion, Environmental Control System, and Thermal Analysis Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation in California. There he excelled in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling, including code programming. As an aerospace engineer he performed design, analysis, and testing for aerospace systems such as the F-18 Super Hornet, B2 Stealth Bomber, Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV), and several space vehicles. He led the specification of analysis methods required for hypersonic technology development. Technology later used to perform the hypersonic inlet design and analysis with CFD for the Air Force PWI (Propulsion Weapons Integration) program. While at Northrop Grumman Corp., Ed held a Top Secret and Special Access Required security clearances and was a pilot in the Air National Guard.
Mr. Marin was named California Engineers' Council Distinguished Engineer Project Achievement Award Team Member for Temrok Ceramics Composite Products in 1999. He has co-authored several papers such as "Low Cost Polymer Derived Carbon Fiber Reinforced CMC for Rocket Nozzle Applications", "Electron Microscopy Used to Aid CMC Process and Material Development", and "CFD Investigation of the HySet Inlet".
Ed's Master of Science studies in Aerospace Engineering is from California Polytechnic State University. He has a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Mr. Mather after graduating from Brunel University, London, with a Joint Honors in Exercise Physiology and Economic Geography, spent the next decade working in the European financial markets for S&P and Morgan Stanley, delivering data solutions to the trading rooms of investment banks.
In the early 2000s, Mr. Mather turned his focus towards the internet and software markets, building businesses that delivered enterprise solutions to medium and large enterprises, and focused on data management. Then pivoting to lead a software firm that developed a market-leading data virtualization solution that continues to solve an enterprise's data asset management challenges.
Recently founded Traust Risk, Mr. Mather has developed the methodologies to support the use of Data as an Asset. This has been achieved by wrapping the data with security, risk mitigation, asset management, and a range of analytics capabilities underpinned by state-of-the-art software. The Data as an Asset solution is presented in terms of extensive benefits to all parties involved, from the borrower, the insurer, and the lender. The focus on Traust Risk is in the areas of risk measurement, monitoring and mitigation to support the lender, insurer and borrower to ensure that loans are successfully repaid.

Mr. Jeff Evanson has spent over 25 years of leadership navigating the intersection of finance and cutting-edge innovation.
At Tesla, directly reporting to Elon Musk, Jeff guided wall street investors into providing the company more than $3 billion in equity investments and an additional $13.5 billion in debt capital. He was instrumental in gaining 85% shareholder support for the $2.7 billion acquisition of Solar City. He served as Vice President of Global Investor Relations & Strategy at Tesla from 2011 to 2017. This funding facilitated the development, manufacturing, and very successful global launch of the Model 3 that led to profitability for the company.
Jeff's accounting degree introduced him to finance and technology as an auditor at RSM McGladrey where he rose to the rank of Audit Manager. He gained both Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certifications during his four years with the firm.
Jeff's interest in the capital markets led to a six-year tenure at the Piper Jaffray investment bank, where he rose through the ranks to be a Managing Director and he also served as a Product Manager, Operating Committee Member and Equity Research Analyst in the Consumer Financials sector.
Jeff was recruited away from Cherry Tree to join the Dougherty & Company investment bank as an Equity Research Analyst focusing on Applied Technologies. His Applied Technologies group focused on early-stage innovative technologies. His investor guidance as a stock analyst led to a greater understanding of the communication gap between the investment community and innovative technology companies that led to his work as an Investment Relations expert.

Stephen Ferns is a very experienced claims practitioner and consultant with in-depth experience of managing complex claims. Client claims service and negotiating with insurers in the interest of the client are central to his approach. He has worked for over 35 years handling London Market insurance claims. His main areas of focus in the insurance markets include property & casualty and construction/energy claims. He is currently the Director and Owner of Lombard Street Claims Limited where he works with a variety of clients.
Mr. Ferns previously spent eight years at BMS Group, Ltd., an insurance brokerage and advisory firm where he worked as Head of Global Risks Claims and was responsible for claims emanating from the companies Risk Solutions division. The team he managed included nine claims professionals and his primary responsibilities included the management of Property & Casualty, mining, construction, energy and claims. He was also gained a considerable amount of catastrophic experience.
Prior to joining BMS Group, Mr. Ferns spent over twelve years working at Lockton Companies, the world's largest privately-held insurance brokerage firm where he served as Claims Director. He worked on Property, Energy and Construction claims. He gained extensive experience in the handling large retail losses and worked with many facultative reinsurances (Fac R/I) Clients including major mining and oil companies. His initial work in the London insurance markets was at the PWS Group where he began to hone his insurance skills as a Senior Claims Technician.
