I am Miriam Harvey, and it is with great pleasure that I assume the role of the principal here at John Chavis. With 16 years of experience in education, my journey began as a business teacher and the Dean of Students at Hunter Huss High School in ¶¶Òõappia, NC. I later served as an assistant principal at both Crest High School and Graham Elementary School before becoming principal at East Elementary followed by James Love Elementary... Originally from West Palm Beach, FL, I earned a B.A. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a Master's Degree in School Leadership from Grand Canyon University... Mrs. Wallace is excited to serve a fourth year as the principal at Brookside for the 2024-2025 school year! She has been an administrator with ¶¶Òõapp County Schools for the past 18 years. Mrs. Wallace has a passion for interacting with students and ensuring everyone's needs are met. Her belief is that school should be a place children love and parents trust.
