WILDER SCHOOL

The Autism Program at The Wilder School provides educational and clinical services for students in elementary school through high school who have autism or other related developmental disabilities. Using principles of applied behavior analysis, this program strives to teach students effective communication skills, social skills, functional academic skills, self-help/personal care skills, ADL skills and pre-vocational/ vocational skills training... Students with diverse learning and social/emotional needs grow, heal, and learn by experiencing meaningful relationships with adults. The Wilder School creates a safe, respectful, caring, and inclusive environment that fosters those meaningful relationships. The team at The Wilder School believes all of their students can develop to their fullest potential and contribute positively to their community.
