Alan Ramsay has spent the greater part of his career in financial services regulation and is currently Chief Executive of the International Property Securities Exchange and Deputy Chairman of CISI. Michael previously spent 35 years with BNY Mellon, the last 7 years serving as Chairman of BNY Mellon Europe, Middle East and Africa. In that role Michael was responsible for BNY Mellon's governance culture in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and led regional strategy development, execution and the delivery of enterprise initiatives in the region. Michael joined BNY Mellon over 35 years ago, starting initially as a credit and risk analyst. Michael was then appointed as a corporate finance banker to special industry clients, including Securities, Oil and Gas and Telecoms between 1986 and 1993. Michael then joined the Depositary Receipts (DR) division where he continued to work on many DR equity capital raising transactions, including numerous privatisations and equity offerings around the world. Becky is Managing Director of Aurea Financial Planning Ltd based in Peterborough working with both individuals and companies creating long term Financial Plans. As a CFP licensee and Fellow of the Institute of Financial Planning, Becky is a strong believer in the six stage Financial Planning process and the need for cashflow planning. She has a strong drive to help provide Financial Planning to all clients, not just those of Aurea and was instrumental in the project to launch the Accredited Financial Planning firm in the UK and is also a regular speaker on Financial Planning subjects. Robert is Investment Director of Rathbone Group Plc. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute and a Chartered Wealth Manager with over 27 years' experience managing portfolios for wealthy private clients, trusts, pensions and charities. After University, RMA Sandhurst and serving as an Army Officer for four years, he joined the City stockbrokers Laurence Keen that was acquired by Rathbones in 1995. He has held a number of senior roles within Rathbones, including sitting on the Board and Executive Committee of the main operating company. In 2008 Robert established and chaired Rathbones' Corporate Governance Committee in the belief that good and active stewardship is an important part of fiduciary responsibility. The centre's regulator, the Astana Financial Centre Authority (AFSA), joined the CISI as a full Corporate Supporter at the time of the AIFC's launch in July 2018. In October 2018, the CISI opened an exam testing centre in AFSA's office. Simon is the Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and was appointed in 2004. During his tenure the Institute has grown to be a global body with over 40,000 members, 26,000 of whom are fully qualified. It has 200 staff in ten offices and its 40,000 qualifications taken each year are formally recognised in over 70 jurisdictions. Simon previously worked with a number of blue chip financial companies, in Central Government and the NHS. His previous role was at Deutsche Bank where he worked for four years as Director, Chairman's Office, Global Investment Banking. Simon's public sectors roles included a three-year posting to the Cabinet Office where he was a Deputy Director of the Prime Minister's Efficiency Unit and responsible for a number major government departments. Simon also worked at University College London, Hospital as the Project Director to help set up the Hospital to be part of the first wave of Foundation Trusts. Simon spent his early career with Lloyds Bank which he joined from university and held a number of roles including Group Manager for the Kensington Area, a Manager in the Bank's Training College and an Assistant Vice-President in Chicago USA. Simon is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and a member of of the London Institute of Banking & Finance. Simon was educated at St Paul's School and the University of Surrey. Simon is married to Sarah, and they have four adult children. Simon enjoys actively playing tennis and sailing and is a long standing season ticket supporter of AFC Wimbledon.
