Caroline Barraclough

Caroline has over fifteen years' experience in financial and sustainability communications. She has strong relationships with leading financial and environmental journalists and an excellent track record working with investment managers, investor networks and research initiatives. She has worked across many of our clients including CDP, FAIRR, Brunel Pension Partnership and the Science-Based Targets Initiative. Caroline previously led marketing and communications activity at sustainable investment specialists WHEB, and before that was Marketing Manager at Impax Asset Management. She holds the Investment Management Certificate and has a First Class Honours degree in Geography - specialising in climate and biodiversity - from Oxford University.

Elliot Frankal

Elliot is a public relations professional and former Head of Communications for the UN Principles for Responsible Investment. He has watched the growth of the responsible investment industry over his career and provided communications advice to major financial institutions such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and CalPERS, government departments, the UN and FTSE100 companies. Elliot previously worked as a researcher and speechwriter in the British House of Commons and was senior consultant for a political PR firm in London, during which time he was published in newspapers including The Guardian and Financial Times.

Georgia Dalton

Job Titles:

Georgia has over six years' experience working in a range of communication roles in the not for profit and commercial sectors. Prior to ESG Communications she worked in the external relations department at Chatham House (The Royal Institute for International Affairs), and more recently in the communications team at one of Scotland's leading aquaculture companies. Georgia holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Portsmouth.

Izzy Schaw Miller

Izzy works as an Account Director on the ESG Comms team. Having a particular interest and specialism in sustainability and environmentalism, previous career highlights include her work as the media lead for Voi Technology, helping to promote its mission to spark a green transport revolution across Europe, and leading communications for Ecosia, the green search engine that donates its profits to tree planting charities. As well as being a Politics and Italian graduate from the University of Bristol, she has completed the Sustainable Development Goal Academy's courses Transforming Our World: Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Feeding a Hungry Planet: Agriculture, Nutrition and Sustainability.

Josh Hoppen

Josh is an experienced communications professional, PR practitioner and researcher, working for nearly a decade across a range of international corporates and technology organisations including Philips, Booking.com and Huawei. He's comfortable running fast-paced press offices and writing persuasive content to galvanise climate action and responsible investment. Formerly Head of Communications at a cyberthreat intelligence company in Spain, Josh holds a Masters in International Relations and has qualifications in fields relating to international affairs and human security issues. Currently based in Barcelona, Josh continues to be involved in a broad range of creative and music-related projects outside of his day-to-day.

Mark Nicholls

Mark is a consultant and journalist specialising in environmental finance, responsible investment, ESG disclosure, carbon markets and low-carbon business and finance. He was the co-founder and editor of Environmental Finance magazine from 1999 to 2013. He has written for the Guardian, Responsible Investor, Scientific American and Environmental Finance, among others.

Mike Marshall

Mike has 8+ years' experience working across a mix of marketing, content, comms and PR. He has worked agency-side primarily, with clients including Samsung, Visa, KP Snacks and JUUL Labs, and recently spent time working in-house as a Communications Consultant with InfluenceMap, a climate think tank. Mike is an accomplished storyteller and a lover of data. He graduated with a BSc in Geography from the University of Manchester.

Miranda Barham

With more than 20 years' communications experience gained in Sydney, Hong Kong and London, Miranda has undertaken a variety of projects including filming for one of the world's best known consumer brands in China, litigation support for a US oil firm's dispute in Indonesia, launch of the first carbon emissions trading and clearing scheme in Europe and the communications around the sale of (ethical) businesses in London and Asia in addition to multiple campaigns in support institutional investors' fundraising activities. She works on a variety of ESG Comms clients including TPI and FAIRR. She has also worked on ESG-oriented communications campaigns include initiatives for microfinance, modern slavery, clean energy and the environment.

Narcis Sauleda

Narcis is a vastly experienced and creative designer who can see the bigger picture and add the little details. He specialises in creating a coherent and consistent visual story for your brand, report or website.

Sasha Hill

Job Titles:
  • Associate Account Manager
Sasha joined the ESG Comms team in May 2023 as an associate. She has previously worked at a global PR firm in their London office representing several Fortune 500 companies including the global power company, The AES Corporation, notably coordinating their media communications strategies at COP27 and WEF 2023. Sasha holds a dual Bachelor's Degree in Laws and International Relations from IE University in Madrid and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in International Business and Politics part-time at Copenhagen Business School. She is passionate about promoting sustainable development, particularly for small island states.
