Anita Foster

Job Titles:
  • Business Operations Manager
With a background in arts and sign writing, Anita was previously a college laboratory technician. Her positive, buoyant attitude and eye for detail made her an instant asset at EMP as she helps out in all areas, assembling circuit boards and organising parts and stock in the workshop.

Conner Hoggard

Job Titles:
  • Electronic Product Designer
Conner achieved a First in Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Bath in 2018. Soon after, we snapped him up for his first full-time job, as Software and Hardware Engineer at EMP. Conner is the creative force behind much of our software programming and his bespoke solutions ensure our products remain inventive. Working closely with Dan and Zoe, he incorporates leading edge technology innovatively into client briefs.

Dan Stanton

Job Titles:
  • Managing and Technical Director
With a degree in industrial design and technology, Dan‘s dream was to turn his enthusiasm for inventing and developing new products, playing with LEDs and general tinkering into a functioning business. Now Dan is the customer front man of EMP - gaining and analysing the initial information. He's a creative thinker, full of ideas, with extensive experience across digital and analog design, custom circuit board layout, microprocessor programming, motion control and industrial servo controls, amongst other areas. This diverse technical knowledge allows him to solve a vast range of problems and offer a comprehensive package rather than just one element of it. Dan stays abreast of all new technologies, mainly because he can't help himself, and he takes data sheets home for bedtime reading.

Ewelina Raczynska

Job Titles:
  • Electronic Technician
Ewelina joins us with 16 years' experience in the field of electronic PCB assembly from through hole to surface mount technology. She is a valuable addition to our PCB assembly team improving our systems due to her knowledge and expertise.

Graham Collier - Chief Commercial Officer

Job Titles:
  • Commercial Director
With a background in procurement and outsourcing, Graham has years of experience working with both SMEs and major global corporations to improve their commercial arrangements. He joined EMP to help ensure structure and strategic direction as the company grows and to protect EMPs intellectual interests.

Jackie Andrews

Job Titles:
  • Technician
Jackie has a strong manufacturing background with oodles of experience of electronic assembly for a number of companies. So Jackie puts everything together as our key assembler, electronic & mechanical, also uploading programmes & testing things. We don't know how we coped before she arrived! She works at a phenomenal speed with a precision that ensures great quality. And fortunately she drinks as much tea as the rest of us.

Kate Stanton - CFO, Secretary

Job Titles:

Kate started off with a degree in Industrial Design. After a brief stint in an R&D department, she turned her talents to teaching and helped many students through their Design Technology GCSE. Early in her career, she became head of department, before later being promoted to assistant head and helping to manage the running of the school. With responsibilities such as line managing the heads of departments and site team, running exams and options programmes, building partnerships between businesses and the school, presenting on behalf of the school and chairing meetings, her business acumen comes as a great asset to EMP. Kate brings the overview and management expertise that has become crucial as EMP continues to expand.

Kieran Charlett

Kieran has travelled around the likes of Canada, Greece & Austria undertaking a variety of roles including camp councillor, tennis coach and pizza chef! He has a strong interest in the practical work and assembly at EMP, and is keen to expand his knowledge of electronics further.

Lewis Murray

Job Titles:
  • Engineering Apprentice
Lewis is on an EMP apprenticeship scheme whilst studying at Farnborough Technical College. The roles and activities he undertakes at EMP are varied enough to give him exposure to the practical side of much that he studies.

Mark Seward

Mark has had a very varied working life, including being a Drayman. Pre-pandemic, he ran his own company for nearly ten years and later joined his family business for a short period. Returning in part to a previous life as a Production Technician he has joined EMP for something different, but with some familiarity!

MATT MURRAY CELEBRATES - COO

You are here: Home 1 / News 2 / Matt Murray, Operations Director Matt manages the manufacturing processes for client products to ensure the continued delivery of the highest quality, rapid and responsive service that EMP prides itself on. Originally brought on board for his expertise in distribution and to help manage the major move from Farnborough to Camberley, it quickly became apparent Matt's skillset was an asset to the smooth running of the business. Matt ensures client deadlines are met and that the equipment and infrastructure is used to the best effect with constant improvement. This is important as the team keeps growing! Matt joined us in the madness that was 2020.He brings some great experience with him, having served 12 years in the Royal Navy with the Commando Helicopter Forces and as an aircraft engineer. He‘d also worked for Virgin Atlantic Airways, working his way up from a technician to a senior manager, where for 14 years he managed the aircraft maintenance operation in the main London hubs and globally. He's also picked up an MBA from Henley Business School along the way! He met EMP MD Dan, whilst working on number of major movies as a special effects engineer, and now he's joined the team.

Morgan Jenkins

Morgan is a fully qualified electrician so his electrical knowledge is valuable as we develop our product range to include electrical as well as electronic systems.

Oliver Jeffrey

Oliver is a student at Farnborough 6th Form College where he is studying physics, maths and chemistry. Prior to this, he achieved a level 2 distinction in the OCR Cambridge National in Systems Control in Engineering Level 1/2 Certificate. He works at EMP 1 day a week involved in manufacturing. His studies in the theory of electronic principles are now receiving practical application! Oliver undertakes engineering projects in his free time, including designing and building a functional radio-controlled hovercraft. He is currently working on a small Tesla coil.

Zoe Hall

Job Titles:
  • Senior Design Engineer
Zoe has an MEng in Mechatronics. She also has an unusually broad range of knowledge and disciplines for one person, and is always learning new skills. Zoe turns briefs into designs and works closely with Dan on problem solving. Quiet but fiercely industrious, she also undertakes much of the software programming, prototype manufacturing and testing and quality control (maintaining ISO9001). Zoe thrives on the variety of problems and briefs at EMP, with no 2 days ever being the same.
