Andy Gomes

Andy Gomes joined the team in 1990 with an extensive background in the hotel and restaurant industry. His experience has been a driving force in laying the foundation for a solid, service-focused operations department, and it resonates in all business he conducts. Andy's primary focus is the support and development of hospitality brands. Like Andy, his team is driven to find new and better ways to do business, regardless of industry or product. Andy's service-oriented background is evident in his personal life as well. He currently serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Council for Hopelink, a non-profit organization serving homeless and low-income families, and has been volunteering at Farestart, a culinary job training and placement program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals since 2008.

Clark Nuber

We admire the energy and creative thinking that the One Eighty Foundation brings to serving at-risk children and families, and we are proud to be able to contribute to their success.

Dan Madsen - CEO, Chairman

Dan Madsen has developed a combination of people, platform, and pipeline focused on changing the way business is done. He's a tireless and inspirational leader with the drive and vision to make Leisure Care not only a great company to work with, but also a great company to work for. Since 1988, his business philosophy has been simple-put people first, and positively impact the lives of employees, customers, and business associates every day. Dan's commitment to philanthropy has helped create a culture of giving, and his dedication to the industry has led to his involvement as a member of various boards, and the founding of the One Eighty Foundation.

Dwight Proteau

Dwight is Co-Founder and CSO of Two World Spirits, LLC, a craft distiller based in Seattle, WA. Two World Spirits produces RedTerra-an original blue agave spirit. Additionally, Dwight has enjoyed a 28+ year career as a National Solutions Provider in the Information Technology industry. Dwight is a Founding Board Member of the One Eighty Foundation. Prior to the formation of the Foundation, Dwight served on the NW Regional Board of Children's Home Society of Washington. His philanthropic passion is convening like-minded organizations that provide a "continuum of care" for children and families in need.

Judy Marczewski - CFO

Judy Marczewski joined Leisure Care as Chief Financial Officer in March 1999, and was named partner in 2003. Her experience in executive positions for KeyCorp, Key Bank of Washington, and CTS International, Inc. has prepared her well to serve as CFO. Judy is a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow, and is actively involved in Treehouse, an agency committed to improving the lives of foster children. Her passion for education and training has prompted her to head up our 180 Degrees program. After a full day of reviewing financial histories, projecting trends, and forecasting future performance, Judy can be found enjoying the great outdoors with her family (more specifically, the slopes after a good snow fall). It's this balance of family, community, and work that make her perfectly suited for the role.

Kate Harrison

Kate Harrison has been with Leisure Care since 1992 moving 1000's of residents into Leisure Care Retirement Communities over her 27 years in the industry. The same passion that Kate has for changing the lives of seniors, also drives her to make a difference in the lives of children and families. Kate has been a committed supporter of Treehouse, Children's Hospital of Seattle, LifeSpring of Bellevue, YouthCare and Mary's Place. Kate has 4 sons, 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter! She has a cabin and art studio on the Olympic Peninsula where she enjoys family time, nature and the joy of creating.

Kyle Frederickson

Kyle is an investor and entrepreneur who joined UBS in 2015, who has 15 years of experience in the private wealth management industry. Prior to joining UBS, Kyle worked as a Regional Manager for Lord Abbett & Company, a privately held asset management company managing over 120 billion dollars. With Kyle you quickly learn he believes it's all about the people, having led teams large and small, he believes that people are the main success factor for any business. Kyle has an enormous passion for meeting, learning from, and working with smart people all around the world. Kyle supports the Plymouth Housing Group and is a Board Member of the Millionair Club. For Kyle work and fun are one in the same. His other life passions include skiing, downhill mountain biking, and fly fishing…and good wine.

Lorie Bennett

Lorie Bennett joined The One Eighty Foundation in September 2019. A project manager with many years of experience at several Seattle ad agencies, Lorie manages the annual golf tournament and other similar activities. As a PTA volunteer and Golden Acorn award winner, Lorie has held numerous leadership and board roles at her children's schools including extensive event management, volunteer coordination, and fundraising experience. Lorie lives in West Seattle with her husband, Chris, three sons, Sam (16), Jack (14) and Will (11). In addition to family time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and travel to warm and sunny destinations.

Mark Fremmerlid

Mark is an energetic entrepreneur and expert in parking and transportation, having owned two companies-Silver Cloud and Four Park Avenue Parking & Transportation Services-for more than 30 years. He's been called upon nationally to handle parking and transportation needs for clients such as the PGA Tour, NBA, MLB, NFL, Microsoft, Wells Fargo, and Four Presidents of the United States. He and his wife, Barbette, are committed to raising money in support of kids in the Pacific Northwest. Mark is also very involved in the Make A Wish Foundation for Washington and Alaska and is on the board of the Lenny Wilkens Foundation.

Robert Westermann - President

Since joining in 1989, Bob's dedication to research and preparation has helped him develop and execute successful business plans across multiple product lines. Bob focuses on the growth of new international projects and partnerships, leading a team who evaluates and develops global business opportunities. During his successful tenure at One Eighty, Bob's team has established properties in Canada, India, and Mexico with more to come. When not at work, Bob enjoys varied outdoor activities with his adult children and grandchildren. He also can be found volunteering as a "Big Buddy" and mentor at Camp Erin, an organization funded by the Moyer Foundation that brings critical life coping skills, hope and healing to thousands of children and teens. He is also on the Board of Associates for Gallaudet University where he is a member of the Hall of Fame for his outstanding football coaching record.

Steve Avanessian

Steve is the VP of Client Services for BDA, the nation's premier promotional Merchandise Agency. Steve has been instrumental in the growth of the ProActivation division of BDA. His teams built sports marketing relationships with the MLB, NFL, MLS, NASCAR, USOC, PGA Tour, NCAA, NHL and the NBA and partnerships with Marvel, FremantleMedia, Sony Pictures and Fox Studios in the entertainment world. Steve gets his daily cardio chasing after his twins who love running in opposite directions.

Tim Weber

Tim is President and Principal of First Western Properties in Tacoma, a full-service real estate company that serves the great Puget Sound region and Western Washington. In his free time, he spends time with his wife, Britt, and their three kids.

Tom Hawley

Tom Hawley is owner of Mountain View Promotions, a marketing and branding agency based in North Bend, WA. Tom is one of the founding members of the foundation. Tom and his wife, Katy, enjoy golf, skiing, their family cabin on Whidbey Island, and their (combined) six children, including daughter Kimmy, whose various activities keep them going six ways to Sunday!
