Aspen local Bill Linse was an unknowing artist for years before realizing the potential for artistic creations that could be found in his old used paint buckets. A house painter by trade, Linse would commonly pour paint into a small bucket before dipping his brush. At the end of the day, brushes would be cleaned but buckets left sitting with the remnants of the day's paint drying on the inside, only to be used again the following day with a different paint or stain. After several uses, these buckets would develop a thick, rubbery lining of dried paint. When once by chance, Linse thought to peel that lining from the inside of the bucket, he was..
