DJ BILLY MORRIS

From here he proceeded to make a name for himself as a "crowd pleaser" playing uplifting, euphoric and pumping trance. As a resident he helped shape the sounds with which Glam became synonymous. He became known for his ability to read the crowd, rather than turning up with a pre-defined set, something which he continues to this day...
He was a resident in the famous Purple Rooms, warming up for such names as Judge Jules, K-Klass, Graeme Park and Tony de Vit and this is when Billy started seriously learning his trade...
Billy picked up the name ‘billypleased' by "accident" during a gig with Jon Pleased Wimmin. As he took to the decks, someone shouted "We want Jon Pleased Wimmin", to which, on the mic, tongue in cheek Billy replied "Fukk Jon Pleased Wimmin! I'm Billy pleased himself!", and so the name stuck. "At first it was just a laugh but promoterssoon realised Billy absolutely hated it so they put it on the posters deliberately just to wind him up."
