FAIRCHILD EQUIPMENT - Key Persons
Chad Fairchild has been in the forklift industry unofficially for his entire life, learning as much as he could from his father before officially entering the field in 2008. As the CEO of Fairchild Equipment, he's responsible for the company's overall performance, success and culture. He works to maintain positive relationships with vendors, bankers and customers and oversees long-term strategic planning for the company's growth.
Chad has a wife and four children between the ages of 1 and 9. He loves his career in the equipment industry, living in Green Bay and being part of the Fairchild Equipment team.
As the Director of Sales for the West region, Doug Larsen manages all sales operations in Minnesota and North Dakota. He has 17 years of experience in the material handling industry. Prior to that, he managed a telecommunications company.
In his free time, Doug enjoys camping, fishing and cooking.

Mark Stammer brings 27 years of industry experience to the role of Director of Sales for the East region of Fairchild Equipment's territory. He's been with the company since 1997, when he got his start as a forklift technician. Over the past two decades, he has worked his way up the company ladder, becoming the director of sales in 2017.

Mike Wolf, Fairchild Equipment's Director of Operations for Minnesota, oversees the day-to-day operations of all our Minnesota branches. He manages the parts, services and rental departments and has 17 years of industry experience. Mike has been with Fairchild Equipment throughout his career, getting his start as a technician, then working his way up to service manager and finally director of operations.
He enjoys fishing, hunting, auto racing and vintage motorcycles in his free time.
Steve Frank has six years of industry experience. Before that, he worked for 15 years in utilities and four years as a certified public accountant. At Fairchild Equipment, he leads the accounting, IT, accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial reporting teams.
He's a father to six children and loves watching, coaching, listening to and cheering them on in all their activities.
Tim Rothe is the VP of Operations for Fairchild Equipment. He has 38 years of industry experience and got his start as a technician. For Yale Material Handling/Fairchild Equipment, he's served in roles ranging from technician to Green Bay Service Manager to Corporate Service Manager to VP of Operations.
Van Clarkson has been in the industry for 25 years. Before becoming President of Fairchild Equipment, he worked as a regional finance manager, director of fleet management and vice president of sales. In his role as President, he ensures the company adheres to its mission, vision and core values. He's also responsible for championing the company culture and for near- and long-term strategic planning.
Van has been married for more than 20 years and has four children between 13 and 20. Three dogs and three cats complete his family.
