Clay Gourley

Clay Gourley is a local Austin native and brings with him over 30 years of electrical experience and field knowledge. He grew up on Lake Travis and spent his summers jet skiing and boating with his family. After graduating from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, he joined Fox Service Company where he obtained his unrestricted journeyman's license for the City of Austin. While working in the downtown Austin area for high-rise tenant finish-outs, he obtained his Master Electrician's License and Electrical Contractor's License for the State of Texas in 2003. In 2003, he started his own electrical business, Clay Electric, which specialized in residential, commercial and service work. He worked on large projects from downtown Austin high rises, to the 4-story Hampton Inn Hotel, in Boerne, Texas. In 2009, he joined the Hal Jones Team as Field Manager. Clay brings with him a wealth of knowledge of working on large-scale commercial projects as well as working with county inspectors and subcontractors, to architects and property owners. We are glad to have his professional skills as a part of the HJD team.

James D. Hanson

James D. Hanson is an award-winning marketing professional, with over a decade of experience. James has demonstrated leadership throughout various sales management positions, handling high-volume properties and closing over $100 million in real estate transactions, to date. Having worked in both Texas and North Carolina, Mr. Hanson's areas of expertise include waterfront properties. James has enjoyed great success in across various facets of the industry, including the coordination of marketing efforts (across a wide variety of media), recruiting and training professional staff; and guiding clients from contract to closing. In recognition of excellence demonstrated in sales and management services. Hanson has been the recipient of the following industry awards: J.R. Purcell Award, Cost Savings Award and Top Manager Award.

Jeff Lamkin

Lamkin adds that he loves the fact that the Texas coast "is so affordable to a large percentage of the population. A 300-acre tract on the southern shore of Lake Travis is being transformed into a luxury residential community called The Reserve at Lake Travis.

Nick Spiropoulos

Born in Bloemfontein South Africa of Greek parents in 1961. Nick completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1982 and then did 2 years of mandatory military training, becoming a lieutenant. Nick joined South African Breweries in 1983, where he held various positions in marketing, the last of which was Director of International Sales (selling in 47 countries). It was during this time that Gary Player offered Nick a position in the Gary Player Golf Company to run the International Business Division which led to a move with his family to the United States of America - West Palm Beach, Florida. On becoming American citizens, Nick accepted a position with Dave Pelz Golf Company in Austin, Texas as the Executive Director of the Compaq World Putting Championship. Nick then brokered beverage deals internationally for Advantage Plus protein drinks, iced tea and organic energy drinks in Europe, Africa and Australia. Recently Nick joined Hal Jones Development Company in the capacity of community consultant and is thoroughly enjoying the challenge. Nick and his wife Chrissie have two children - their daughter Georgia (22) and son Athanasios (21). They enjoy the hill country, supporting the Longhorns and grilling steaks on the weekends. Nick's hobbies include golf, travelling, and smoking a good cigar.
