Connor Mulholland

Practice Areas: Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury Connor Mulholland is an associate at Mueller, Berg & Schmidt. His practice focusses on workers' compensation, personal injury and family law. Connor received his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 2018. Connor joined the firm in February of 2020 after previously practicing in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Connor is also a graduate of the University of Kansas where he completed his Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Connor grew up in Fort Dodge where he watched his father practice law. Growing up Connor idolized his father for the positive impact that he was able to have in his clients' lives. Seeing that, Connor knew from a young age that he wanted to be lawyer and have the same opportunity to help. Connor loves living in the Midwest and is proud to call Iowa home. His favorite part about living in Iowa are the people. Connor strongly believes that "Iowans" are some of the nicest people in the world, and is passionate about representing Midwesterners who share his same values. Connor is a diehard Creighton Basketball fan and plans his vacations around the men's basketball schedule. While not at the office Connor enjoys exercising, watching sports, and spending time with his family.

Dustin Mueller

Practice Areas: Workers' Compensation, Workers' Compensation Bad Faith, Personal Injury Dustin Mueller knew at a very young age that he wanted to become a lawyer. Dustin's father is a personal injury lawyer, and growing up, would share stories about the people he helped in his profession. Dustin has always admired his father, and his passion to pursue law continued to grow as he aged. Like his father, Dustin realized that he wanted to represent people and not giant insurance carriers, so he decided to specialize in Plaintiff's work, handling primarily workers' compensation and personal injury cases. Throughout his career, Dustin has represented thousands of injured individuals and has fought insurance carriers to obtain the benefits and compensation his clients deserve. Dustin is from a small town about 60 miles outside of Chicago, and after touring Drake Law School, he was positive he wanted to call Des Moines home! Dustin likes being exposed to the opportunities in the city, and believes Des Moines is the perfect size. As a country boy at heart, Dustin loves that you can travel about 20 minutes in any direction from Des Moines and be in the "middle of nowhere." When he's not working, Dustin is either spending time with his family or out in the woods. Dustin has a strong passion for hunting, and as an avid archery hunter, he is always excited to travel to new places all over the world to find the next quest. A couple of his favorite destinations include British Columbia for black bear and Africa for plains game.

Nicholas Adkins

Practice Areas: Workers' Compensation, Social Security Disability Nick Adkins is an associate attorney at Mueller, Berg, & Schmidt. His practice focuses on workers' compensation, employment discrimination, social security disability and elder law issues. A driven advocate, his strength lies in his ability to comprehensively analyze and understand complex legal issues and convey this information to the client. An effective communicator, he can answer your questions and find the best way to meet your goals. Prior to joining the firm as an associate attorney, Nick was the law clerk for two years as he pursued his law degree. He worked closely with Dustin, Tom, and Rick during this time and they shared their knowledge and experience with him. He graduated from Drake Law School with the distinction of highest honors in 2020. While at Drake, he worked as a Student Attorney in the Drake Elder Law Clinic. During his time in the clinic, he dealt with issues such as opening and closing probate estates, creating inter vivos trusts, wills, and power of attorneys when necessary. Nick was also awarded Excellence For the Future Awards for his performance in his Workers' Compensation and Employment Law classes at Drake. When he's not in the office, Nick likes to spend time with his family. Their hobbies include attending farmers' markets and art festivals around Des Moines. He unwinds by exercising and landscaping around the house.
