Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded January 13, 1913 on the campus of Howard University by 22 women inspired to action and committed to public service. Guided by Christian principles, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community. More than 107 years later, we remain resolute following in the footsteps of our Founders and in the forefront of action as a voice for those in need... The Inland Valley Alumnae Chapter was chartered May 17, 2020, becoming the 1,051st chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated by 50 tenacious women with hope in their hearts and a readiness to serve. We are ready to carry forward..
